00:00 But to Mary McDonald, a defensive back from Tennessee, Tyler Baron is another
00:04 Russian and we're obviously we're sitting back waiting to find out
00:08 what is going to happen with princely Uman Mielen.
00:12 And we'll see exactly what happens with him as you know,
00:16 these transfer portal things can work especially when you're dealing with the
00:19 top Russian in the portal but Tyler Baron is also
00:22 visiting Ole Miss. Walter Nolan is a game changer,
00:27 absolutely. I'm not saying Ole Miss is going to get him, I'm not saying Ole Miss is
00:31 not going to get him. I'm going to tell you what would happen
00:34 if Ole Miss got him. He's a six foot five, 340 pound defensive end,
00:41 had four or five tackles for loss or sacks and
00:45 probably 12 tackles for loss this season. Really good defensive lineman and an
00:50 anchor on that Texas A&M unit that was so
00:52 dominant during the season. Everybody was worried about that defensive line
00:57 unit. It was because of Walter Nolan and how
01:00 dominant he was and knowing that
01:05 and knowing what happened in one and Ole Miss is, Ole Miss had one game
01:09 this season against Georgia. I know they lost to Alabama but the one game where
01:13 it was really apparent on the line of scrimmage was the Georgia
01:16 Bulldogs game. They out-schemed Ole Miss, they out-talented Ole Miss and they beat
01:20 them up front offensively and defensively. Alabama was
01:24 having trouble with the offensive line. Ole Miss was able to make some hay in
01:28 that. Georgia kind of pushed the Ole Miss
01:32 defensive line around. J.J. Pegues is a really good player. Jared
01:36 Ivey is a really good player but occasionally they were able to scheme
01:40 some stuff up and win some one-on-one battles
01:42 and the offensive line was able to basically do whatever they wanted to do.
01:46 Carson Beck did not have to get a grasp, you did not have to wash
01:50 Carson Beck's jersey after that football game.
01:54 Nobody touched him. No tackles for loss in that game.
01:59 And because of that, Lane Kiffin and Pete Golden are putting an
02:05 emphasis on the defensive line. Absolutely major. Walter Nolan is a huge
02:11 piece of that. This is the greatest piece to ever enter the transfer portal
02:15 in its short existence.
