00:02 Christmas party was planned today by the Technical Vocational Institution in Biakna Bato in Quezon City.

00:07 But instead of celebrating, the recruits were sent home to Alsa Balutan after being raided by the Department of Migrant Workers.

00:14 This was followed by the complaint of two trainees from the DMW,

00:17 who were paid for a few months to be recruited to be caretakers in Taiwan.

00:21 But...

00:22 It's taking too long. It seems like it won't materialize.

00:26 In the surveillance conducted by the DMW, apart from training,

00:30 the match train offers work to their trainees in Taiwan for the amount of 40,000 to 45,000 pesos.

00:37 He's not licensed, he doesn't have an accredited employer, he doesn't have a registered job order,

00:43 and he doesn't pass the worker to the DMW.

00:47 The match train is a registered training institute, but not a recruitment agency.

00:52 Based on the skills of a part of the private house that was converted into a training facility,

00:58 it seems like there are recruits abroad.

01:00 Even if they were able to continue, as long as they recruited without a license, it's still illegal recruitment.

01:05 And in this case, to top it all off, they were paid 80,000 pesos.

01:10 The DMW immediately closed the training facility.

01:13 The employees and officials are also the ones who are being charged with illegal recruitment.

01:17 The trainees are even asking for a complaint if they were ever hired.

01:22 But some of the people who talked to GMI Integrated News refused to speak.

01:45 But their license officer refused to speak.
