Rublo has defeated El Peque in a terrific sudden death match in Group A of the UTS Grand Final, winning the encounter 15-13, 12-13, 13-12, 10-16, 4-3. With both men playing their second match of the day at the UTS Grand Final in London, the clash produced a tennis of the highest calibre.
Very little separated the two, and while El Peque seemed to be the one with the cooler head, it was ultimately the aggressive, risk-taking play of Rublo that saw the Russian prevail and come within range of the Final Four already.

00:00 You did say that you want to work on your second serve before January.
00:03 Having your serve on your card, having that pressure, does that help?
00:08 You explore that second serve a little bit?
00:10 I don't know, man.
00:12 What kind of question is this?
00:14 It feels like a second serve.

00:40 50/50 support in London for these two.

01:25 He's got himself right back in this quarter.
01:28 Just one point the deficit now.
01:49 He's got long.

04:50 How did Andrew Rublev play that?

05:29 Schwarzman showing his credentials as a baseline player.

08:43 Andrew Rublev, take a bow.
08:46 Everybody in the XL thought that point was over with.
08:50 But one man had other ideas.
