00:00 Hi guys, in this video I will show you, how to turn on or off Background App Refresh on
00:06 iPhone 14 Pro Max.
00:08 So this is my iPhone 14 Pro Max device.
00:11 So let's start.
00:12 So first of all you have to open your Settings app.
00:15 So here is my Settings app.
00:17 Let me tap on it to open it.
00:20 It's now opened.
00:21 And after that you have to tap on General.
00:25 And then tap on Background App Refresh.
00:29 And I have this Background App Refresh, this option over here.
00:33 Allow apps to refresh their content when on Wi-Fi or a cellular in the background.
00:40 Turning off apps may help preserve battery life.
00:43 So just tap on Background App Refresh.
00:47 And you can see guys on this screen, we have three options, Off, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi and Cellular
00:53 Data.
00:54 So if you want to turn on Background App Refresh for Wi-Fi only, then you can select Wi-Fi
00:59 only option.

01:01 So just tap on it to select it.
01:03 Let me tap on it.
01:05 You can see it's selected.
01:07 You can see the checkmark next to it.
01:09 And let's suppose guys, if you want to turn on Background App Refresh for Wi-Fi and Cellular
01:14 Data both, then you can select Wi-Fi and Cellular Data, this option.
01:19 So just tap on it to select it.
01:21 Let me tap on it.
01:24 You can see it's selected.
01:25 You can see the checkmark next to it.
01:27 And whenever you want to turn off Background App Refresh for Wi-Fi and Cellular Data both,
01:33 then you can select this first option, Off.
01:36 Okay.
01:37 So just tap on it to select it.
01:38 Let me tap on it.
01:40 You can see it's selected.
01:42 You can see the checkmark next to it.
01:44 So just select the option that you want.
01:47 So I want to turn on Background App Refresh for Wi-Fi only.
01:51 So let me select Wi-Fi only option.
01:53 Let me tap on it.
01:55 You can see it's selected.
01:57 You can see the checkmark next to it.
01:59 And after you're done, you can go back.
02:03 And if I come to Background App Refresh, you can see it is turned on for Wi-Fi only.
