Culp on USC TD Catch

UW tight end Devin Culp replayed his acrobatic TD catch at  USC.

00:22 running down the field with his helmet off trying to kill people.

00:26 And it was 1318, the call comes in from the sideline.

00:30 It's a play that we've been practicing for the past few weeks.

00:33 I saw the coverage and the ball snaps.

00:37 I'm running my route and I kind of see Mike getting some trouble back there.

00:40 He's breaking the pocket.

00:41 So I just went into scramble mode, just what we practice out here.

00:45 And I've never waved anyone down before or anything like that.

00:49 But I was like, I didn't feel or see anybody behind me.

00:53 So I was like, Mike, you throw it, throw it.

00:57 And as I'm looking down, I saw JP, Rome and me all.

01:01 So I was like, I didn't know if he was throwing it to one of them.

01:03 And then last second I saw it go right over Rome's head.

01:06 I saw it's me, sucked in and just held on for dear life.

01:10 18 was trying to get that thing out of there.

01:12 But yeah, it's definitely a play that I'll never forget for the rest of my life.

01:16 >> I couldn't tell what was better, the catch or the throw.

01:18 >> They were both, and watching it back too,

01:20 I didn't realize that as Mike was throwing it, he was getting hit out of bounds too.

01:25 So you kind of had to eat a little bit of a hit.

01:27 But yeah, I know, this is a play that I'll never forget for the rest of my life.
