00:21 First of all, how are you and your family?
00:24 We're okay, ma'am. We're doing well.

00:30 Sir, the first time that the typhoon hit Davao Oriental,
00:33 how was the effect of this on the province?
00:37 Yes, ma'am.
00:38 The typhoon hit Davao Oriental around 9.30 a.m.
00:42 and in Concepcion, Manay, Davao Oriental.
00:45 So, the effect of this was that five municipalities in Davao Oriental were affected.
00:51 The most affected was the municipality of Caracas, Davao Oriental.
00:58 What were the effects of this on the five municipalities you mentioned, sir, especially on the residents there?
01:07 Yes, ma'am. We have reported a lot of flash flooding and landslides in the respective areas of responsibility of the municipalities.
01:16 This was reported that a total of 7,562 families were affected by the tropical storm, ma'am.
01:27 So, are there still people in evacuation centers until now, sir?
01:32 Yes, ma'am. As of now, there are still people.
01:35 It's increasing. Earlier in Caracas, we had 100 families in evacuation centers.
01:41 In Tihil, ma'am, we also had an evacuation center because there's a dam there.
01:47 When the dam level rises, all the nearby barangays that can't have floods,
01:54 we will have forced evacuation.
01:57 In Tihil, we have 65 families in evacuation centers.
02:02 We did not see any casualties or injuries because of the storm, sir?
02:08 In the casualties, ma'am, we reported to the town of Manay that they tried to sell their farm products.
02:16 So, until now, we are still looking for them.
02:19 Sir, how is the situation now in evacuation centers?
02:26 Are the basic needs of our countrymen sufficient?
02:31 In the evacuation centers, all our camp coordination and camp management teams are activated to handle the needs of the IDPs.
02:40 Sir, what is the line of communication and the current situation in the province?
02:47 Earlier, ma'am, our communication was interrupted and our current is on and off.
02:53 It's lost and it's coming back.
02:56 But we coordinated with the DICP, the Department of Information and Communication Technology, to support us.
03:01 But the communication is really lost.
03:03 We deployed a team there in Caracas.
03:07 Sir, is there a call for the province, for instance, the national government, to help the residents affected by this storm?
03:19 We're in close coordination with the regional offices of the national agencies here in Davao region as to the needs of the IDPs and affected families within Davao Oriental.
