00:00 >> Steglitz, you're in?
00:01 >> It was big time.
00:03 We talked about this week having a complimentary game on offense.
00:07 And I think our guys really took that to heart.
00:10 And it was great.
00:12 We came in with a mentality to be able to run the ball.
00:14 But the passing game was there and our guys stuck to it.
00:16 A lot of guys involved, a lot of guys made a play here and there.
00:19 And just everybody contributed.
00:21 >> You talked about Brett Favre being one of your idols.
00:24 And I'm sure you watched him play here many, many times.
00:27 It wasn't your first time playing here.
00:29 But it was most certainly your best.
00:30 Just what did it mean to be able to have that kind of game here at Lambeau Field?
00:35 >> Third time's a charm, that's for sure.
00:37 No, but just our team was really prepared to come in here.
00:40 Just like we talked about, that mentality, the playoff mentality to come in here
00:44 with one job in mind, and just to find a way to win.
00:46 And we did that.
00:47 So just couldn't be happier with this group.
00:50 So we'll enjoy it, but then hit the reset button on the next week.
00:53 >> Take a couple weeks ago, Chris Gatlin didn't get a catch today.
00:56 He took over the game.
00:57 So what was he able to do against their defense today?
01:00 >> Guy's just so consistent, man.
01:02 Can't say enough about him.
01:03 True stud, true professional.
01:05 Has never complained, has never done any of that.
01:08 Just done everything he needs to do.
01:09 And today he was balling.
01:12 Just some clutch catches, that's for sure.
01:15 Didn't get in the end zone, but was definitely the guy to keep the chains
01:18 moving consistently today and set up everybody else.
01:20 So couldn't be happier for Chris.
01:22 >> Can you talk about the 52 yard touchdown pass today?
01:24 How anxious were you to see that he didn't celebrate just a little bit?
01:28 >> I'll be honest, I didn't see it until I got to the sideline.
01:31 Yeah, just the third down play that we've run a bunch.
01:36 Just checking Mike first.
01:38 They take that away, move on to David or the corner route.
01:40 Campbell was there.
01:43 It was a pretty tight window to throw the sticker out to David.
01:46 So fit it in there to him and then he did the rest.
01:48 And so I was celebrating, so I didn't really see him put the ball back.
01:53 But yeah, it's better to learn on a touchdown rather than a touchback.
01:56 So we'll learn from that and keep it in house.
01:59 >> Coach Bull said he came within inches of getting cursed out on that one.
02:02 >> Absolutely, I can only imagine.
02:04 >> What kind of adjustments did you guys make after halftime?
02:05 Cuz that third quarter was just an explosion.
02:07 Looked like you guys were really clicking on all cylinders there.
02:10 >> Just being more consistent.
02:11 Everybody being on the same page.
02:12 We've done that pretty much the whole year.
02:15 It's come out and adjusting at halftime.
02:17 Being able to get everybody on the same page.
02:19 And just everybody had the mentality to be aggressive.
02:21 And I'd say everybody was on the same page and that was the big difference.
02:23 >> What was the key to being as effective as y'all were on third down,
02:26 particularly in third and long situations?
02:28 >> Everybody just doing their job.
02:29 Nothing special.
02:31 It wasn't like we were running brand new plays.
02:33 It wasn't like we were scheming up and reinventing the wheel.
02:36 Guys just did their jobs.
02:37 A couple huge third and long conversions that everybody just did little things
02:41 right, so that's what it comes down to.
02:43 Playing on the road, take care of the ball, and move on from there.
02:46 >> I know you've played in a lot of meaningful football games throughout your
02:49 career at all different levels.
02:50 But where would this one rank?
02:52 Cuz it wasn't just a personal high for you, but
02:56 the fact that it was one of those games that your team really, really needed.
02:59 >> I'll be honest, December games are all important.
03:02 This one was very important, but this one won't matter unless we hit the reset button
03:07 and move on next week.
03:07 So it can't be more special than any other.
03:10 It's the most important one now, but enjoy it, and
03:12 then we'll move on to the next week.
03:13 So that's the mentality that we have to have as a unit.
03:16 >> Long time to go, a little from the season.
03:18 But how satisfying has this year been for you to kind of reestablish yourself
03:22 in the new team?
03:23 >> I'm having fun playing football.
03:24 I wouldn't say I'm satisfied by any means.
03:26 Still got ball left, still have playoffs in mind, and so I'm still hungry.
03:31 >> Baker eating, just get Chris Godwin involved, just Mike Evans.
03:34 You got five guys involved, five receivers had over 40 yards.
03:37 What can you say about the ball distribution this afternoon?
03:41 >> Guys just being in the right spots.
03:43 I've said to this group that I've talked to pretty consistently that
03:46 the coverage will dictate where the ball goes.
03:48 So guys being in the right spot, on time is the big difference.
03:52 So our guys did that today, and that's why you saw a distribution like that.
03:56 >> Just talking about the game Dave called.
03:58 >> Unbelievable.
03:59 Obviously, the linemen wanna run the ball a little bit more, but
04:03 when you're having explosive passes like that.
04:05 We ran the ball when we needed to late in the game, so I'm proud of that.
04:08 But Dave called an unbelievable game, set up some things,
04:10 did different looks to make it happen.
04:12 So yeah, we're getting better, and that's what we need this time of year.
04:16 >> What can you say about this team?
