Police in New South Wales police have uncovered a kidnap plot during a drug bust in Sydney’s northwest involving more than a billion dollars’ worth of cocaine. Police attended a unit block in Ryde where they allegedly found four men dressed in black with what they describe as a kidnapping kit including a crowbar and meat cleaver. Later they identified the kidnap victim and discovered 722 kilograms of cocaine in the unit. All five men including the intended victim have since been charged.
