00:00 >> Coach Harbaugh had a little different schedule than previous years.
00:03 Boys, just for me personally, just feel fresh mentally, physically, and
00:07 spiritually, so it's been really good so far.
00:10 Excitement, what a great opportunity, especially on the stage that we're gonna
00:14 play on, and it's a tremendous football team, so it's gonna be a great challenge
00:17 for us, and we love challenges.
00:19 I feel completely rejuvenated after that little week off, and
00:23 I'm just ready to get back out on the football field tomorrow.
00:26 That's just kind of the whole vibe to the team right now, is just trying to get out
00:30 there and play ball and get better.
00:31 If you know any athletes, it's a little bit worse than leading on, but
00:36 I'm completely fine now, feel 100% healthy, and I'm ready to go out there,
00:41 because these are the games you save your body for, so
00:44 I'm excited to be all out for this one.
00:46 It's been the same, every single week we always prepare, whether we're playing ECU
00:50 or UNLV or whoever it is, we're preparing like we're playing the best team in
00:53 the country, so nothing's really changed, it's just been more urgent and
00:58 making sure we don't miss any little details and leave no stone unturned.
01:02 It was a tremendous honor, that was one of my goals when I stepped on campus,
01:07 to get that award, but there's 10, 15 guys that I can name off right now that
01:12 deserve that award as well, so like Blake mentioned a bunch of times yesterday,
01:16 we're not about personal awards, it's all about team awards.
01:19 And just extremely grateful for my teammates, and thank me in that light.
01:22 I think that the last couple of years I felt like we fell victim to paralysis by
01:28 over analysis, and just kind of getting over detailed with too many things, and
01:32 overthinking things, and I feel like this first couple of weeks we really just
01:37 took things kind of light, easing into things, and
01:40 it's been kind of fresh every single day, so yeah,
01:43 I think that's gonna be the biggest difference, keeping it balanced.
01:45 Yeah, at the end of the day, it's just not throwing it to the other team.
01:49 That's just one of the worst things you can do as a quarterback, and
01:53 just staying poised, calm and collected no matter what happens,
01:56 whether it's a tip ball or anything like that.
01:58 Just going out there and being great every single play.
02:00 Yeah, I feel like experience is one of the biggest edges you can have as
02:03 a competitor, and just having the roller coaster of a game last year.
02:08 And then the experience that I had, staying on the sidelines for
02:11 most of it against Georgia, and playing against a defense like that is gonna be
02:15 huge going into this game, because we've had that experience of elite defense and
02:19 elite athletes.
02:21 Huge, Colston, every single game we go into, I feel like it's an advantage for
02:26 us just because of the type of athlete he is, no matter who he goes against.
02:30 Just size, strength, speed, ability to catch the ball, and
02:35 just being able to get him in the right matchups at the right time,
02:38 it's gonna be pivotal to this game.
02:40 Yeah, he actually brought it up and asked if I wanted to talk about it in the week
02:43 And I told him I'm only focused on family coach and he loved it, he was fired up.
