00:33 It was from Jackson Dart on Instagram.
00:35 And this is a Demani Jackson like
00:38 to a Jackson Dart Instagram post.
00:40 Now, Demani Jackson was the class of 2022.
00:44 So the only way that he knew Jackson Dart
00:46 would have been through recruiting visits.
00:50 They wouldn't have played at the same time together,
00:53 but they were probably aware
00:55 and they knew who they were from the recruiting visits.
00:58 So Jackson Dart announces that Demani Jackson likes it.
01:02 So Demani Jackson, is he interested in Ole Miss?
01:07 Is this a legit thing that we should pay attention to?
01:10 Well, a little bit later in the day,
01:12 it was got picked up and seen by a Twitter on X
01:15 or Twitter or whatever it's called.
01:17 And he said, "Hey, we should look out for this."
01:20 And then the growth collective comes back
01:23 and says, "You're good."
01:25 And that right there is like, okay,
01:27 my antenna goes up even a little bit further.
01:30 So let's talk a little bit about this prospect.
01:32 He was a former, I guess he is a five-star prospect,
01:36 but he's the class of 2022.
01:40 He was ranked in the top 10 nationally.
01:43 The final three for Demani Jackson
01:46 from modern day in Santa Ana, California
01:48 was USC, Alabama and Michigan.
01:52 So another thing that stacks this on top of that,
01:55 he was recruited to Alabama.
01:57 He official to Alabama on November 6th of that year.
02:02 Oh, I guess that would be 2021 before he went to USC
02:07 and the defensive coordinator at Alabama, Pete Golding.
02:11 Our good old portal Pete is in the house.
02:14 So this is a player that would track athletically
02:19 to start at the field position at corner.
02:23 He is somebody that you can put out there
02:25 and do some man coverage stuff.
02:27 His athleticism was really good.
02:29 He was a 98 rated recruit.
02:31 He was nearly a 100.
02:33 This is one of the better athletic recruits
02:36 that have come out of the portal in quite a while.
02:39 So between Demani Jackson and Walter Nolan,
02:42 you can see what Ole Miss is trying to put together
02:44 through the transfer portal.
