00:00 OK, it was a breezy morning in Snowshoe,
00:02 West Virginia, but there's one positive.
00:03 That's fresh powder blowing
00:05 around in the video behind me.
00:06 Six inches of snow fell
00:08 overnight on the mountain.
00:09 However, not everyone in the
00:10 greater Northeast saw the snow.
00:12 Christina shall hoop has the
00:13 details in tonight's ski forecast.
00:16 Alright, skiers and snowboarders
00:19 in the Northeast has been a bit of
00:21 a rough stretch with our coastal
00:22 storm bringing tons of rain,
00:24 melting snow and some damaging
00:25 gusty winds too.
00:26 But we do have a little bit of good news.
00:28 I do want to take you out to Snowshoe,
00:30 West Virginia,
00:31 one of my favorite ski mountains here
00:32 where things are looking up to say the least.
00:35 We've seen some good snow into
00:36 the Allegheny Mountains and even
00:37 the Blue Mountains of West Virginia.
00:39 And now we're looking at more
00:40 in the way of sunshine with your
00:42 AccuWeather exclusive forecast
00:43 on Wednesday and Thursday.
00:44 Even Friday,
00:44 a couple clouds move in temperatures
00:46 just squeaking to 40 degrees,
00:47 but overnight if necessary,
00:48 snow making weather will be pretty solid here.
00:50 Now let's take you to Killington in Vermont,
00:52 where we have had some trouble as well
00:55 with the warmer air and some rain too.
00:57 But again, if you need to make snow,
00:59 well, here you go.
01:00 30s and then 20s Wednesday,
01:01 Thursday, Friday.
01:02 A nice stretch of bluebird days
01:04 here across the Northeast,
01:05 especially as we get up to Killington.
01:07 One more for you here.
01:08 How about we go to Whiteface into
01:10 New York where it's a similar situation?
01:12 We could use more in the way of
01:14 cooler air and hey,
01:15 some sunshine doesn't hurt.
01:17 I suppose if you're heading out to the
01:19 slopes now Wednesday and Friday,
01:20 I'd say are the nicest days,
01:22 but even still to Thursday.
01:23 Not too bad in terms of temperatures
01:25 in the 20s couple clouds,
01:27 but that's really about all you've got.
