00:11 Welcome on back to Extra Large and Barstool Gold.
00:13 This week's the holiday edition.
00:15 When you're going to any kind of Christmas party and people
00:18 ask you what you should bring, you don't know, what I bring--
00:21 I actually don't bring them to a lot of parties.
00:22 I drop them off at a close friend's house.
00:24 I bring my own homemade Irish cream, sort of like a Bailey's
00:28 knockoff, but a little bit more booze in it.
00:31 So everybody likes it.
00:32 Everyone who I drop it off-- I know Willie gets a batch every
00:34 year for me.
00:34 I have an Italian friend who's really Italian,
00:36 shaves twice a day.
00:38 He has it in his Christmas Day coffee every morning.
00:42 And it's so fucking simple to make.
00:44 So you just package it up, do a couple of drops, a couple of
00:46 pops when you visit some friends.
00:49 And it's a lovely, lovely Christmas gift.
00:52 The basis of it is Irish whiskey, chocolate syrup,
00:57 sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, instant coffee,
01:01 and then vanilla extract and almond extract.
01:04 And it's one of those simple just measure and dump type
01:08 recipes.
01:08 So it's a cup of Irish cream, one can, 14 ounce can, of
01:14 sweetened condensed milk.
01:15 It's like thick, sweet, condensed milk.
01:19 So it's just sweetened condensed milk.
01:21 Sort of has the viscosity as if like Moby Dick
01:24 ejaculated into a can.
01:26 You're welcome.
01:28 See what I did there?
01:29 Little pun.
01:30 So that's just one of the stickier things to get out.
01:33 But again, everything just gets dumped into the blender.
01:37 Then right in, we get a teaspoon of vanilla extract,
01:43 half teaspoon of almond extract, teaspoon of instant
01:48 coffee granules, and then three tablespoons of
01:52 chocolate syrup.
01:54 And then once you start making this on your own, you can
01:57 tweak this however you want.
01:58 If you like it more chocolatey, throw in more
02:00 chocolate.
02:01 I sometimes throw in a peppermint extract if I want
02:03 to make it like a mint chocolatey type
02:06 thing, which is good.
02:07 Some people don't like the taste of almond at all, so you
02:09 can leave out the almond extract.
02:11 Some people thin it out a little bit.
02:14 Instead of using all cream, they'll throw in a little bit
02:16 of regular milk.
02:17 You can do that.
02:18 It's totally up to you.
02:19 There is no wrong way to make this, and there are no real
02:23 rules except for this.
02:26 When you start to mix this thing up, you can't just dump
02:29 in the Irish whiskey.
02:31 Reason being, the reason you can't just dump in the Irish
02:35 whiskey is because the cream will break.
02:37 The Irish whiskey will curdle the cream.
02:39 So you've got to get this thing nice and mixed up, and
02:42 then gradually add your Irish whiskey.

03:00 All right, so that last step seems a little bit tedious, I
03:03 know, but please don't just dump the Irish whiskey in
03:06 there, because it'll turn it from Irish cream into Irish
03:10 cheese, and it's disgusting.
03:11 You can't use it.
03:12 And then once everything's mixed up, that's it.
03:14 You're done.
03:15 So if you get the cap off, it's as simple as finding any
03:22 type of bottle or jar.
03:25 You'll get a full mason jar out of
03:27 every one of these recipes.
03:30 And it's a case of just throwing on some sort of name
03:34 tag like you would any gift, throwing one of those on,
03:38 sending it off to the neighbor.
03:39 You could drink it now.
03:40 You could certainly try it now for flavoring.
03:42 But it won't taste that good until it's in the fridge for
03:44 about an hour.
03:46 So I just so happen--
03:48 what's up, guys?
03:50 I just so happen to have a batch that I made last night.
03:54 Serve cold, shake well.
03:56 It's the only thing you need to do.
03:57 It's served best in a Barstool Sports rock glass, and even
04:02 better in a Gentleman's Friday rock glass, which we're unable
04:07 to keep here because they're so fucking sweet.
04:10 You can find them at the Barstool store, though.
04:13 And then there you have it.
04:14 It's homemade Irish cream.
04:16 Very similar to Bailey's, just a little bit--
04:19 like I said, I tweak it so mine's just a little bit more
04:21 chocolatey, and mine's got a higher booze content.
04:24 So you can go as high.
04:25 I do about a cup of Bailey's to the ones I'm giving out.
04:27 Sometimes when I make it home, I do about a cup and a half of
04:30 whiskey, a cup and a half of whiskey versus a cup.
04:32 All depends on how much you like it.
04:33 But it's absolutely perfect.
04:37 And that's my little trick.
04:38 And that's extra large.
