00:00 >> Just knowing what we could possibly have ahead of us if we handle that game,
00:04 like that week, and how much work we put in in the past over this whole offseason,
00:09 training camp and everything.
00:11 We're not ready to go home yet, so we're gonna do whatever it takes to keep
00:14 offseason going and get to the postseason.
00:16 So we do just take it one game at a time, and like both, like you said,
00:21 what, two weeks ago, like next eight days we could be in first place and
00:24 we handled that.
00:25 So now we just gotta keep going and keep controlling our destiny.
00:27 We don't want it to be in nobody else's hands.
00:30 >> You speak to the resiliency of the team, like what the mindset has been?
00:33 Because at one point this team did lose six or seven, but everyone rallied
00:38 together to, as you said, like get into first place and
00:41 now you guys control your own destiny.
00:43 >> Yeah, we knew it was a better team than that.
00:45 Like, it sucked that it took losing all those games for
00:49 us to finally start getting it right and being able to start, I mean,
00:53 to finish games and closing out the right way.
00:55 But we did start off the season winning close games, but
00:57 then we had a little log when we was losing close games, two score games and
01:02 stuff like that.
01:02 But we all just stayed the course, just kept believing in each other.
01:05 And now we're somewhat on the other side now,
01:08 as long as we keep doing what we're doing right now.
01:10 >> Has it helped that the team has kind of treated the last two or
01:13 three games as a playoff game, so you're already got that focus locked in?
01:17 >> Yeah, I mean, yeah, I would say so for sure,
01:20 because you only get one chance in the playoffs.
01:23 And we gotta take advantage of that chance, seize that opportunity.
01:25 And I think we've been doing a good job of that, even though it's been close
01:29 games, but as long as you win, no matter how you win, you win.
01:32 >> What's your key to beating the next game?
01:38 >> Limiting their explosive players, Redley, Etienne, Lawrence,
01:43 if he's out there, who else?
01:45 My mom, that's my mom, that's my mom.
01:47 Ingram, just limiting the guys who good at making plays with the ball and
01:52 we should be okay.
01:53 >> Going off of that, if Trevor Lawrence is out there,
01:56 how do you guys go about preparing for who's under threat if you don't have him?
02:01 >> We're gonna start off with Lawrence,
02:02 cuz he said he haven't missed a game yet in his NFL career.
02:06 But I was wondering the same thing, and me, so what if Lawrence don't play?
02:11 I'm pretty sure our coach is gonna come up with something and get us ready for it.
02:14 But yeah, I don't know what we're gonna do right now, but
02:17 we're preparing for Lawrence right now.
02:19 >> How gratifying was it for you to make the big play at the end of last game,
02:23 to really close it out for the defense and the Bucs team?
02:27 >> I felt good, but I just gotta go more often, more consistently.
02:33 I love helping T out on that play and finishing the game off the right way,
02:37 cuz defensively, we did lose a couple games before, so
02:40 being able to close it out on defense felt good.
02:43 But I just wanted to be better the whole game and
02:47 I just want to play at the end of the game.
02:49 >> To look past Sunday, Sunday's a big day, Monday's a big day too.
02:54 What does Christmas mean to you and your family and your household?
02:59 >> Christmas is everything to my family and my home.
03:03 So it's probably Thanksgiving and Christmas, the top two holidays in our
03:06 homes.
03:07 And I honestly think my wife goes, she does too much.
03:12 She gets the games too much and everything, but the kids deserve it.
03:16 They work hard for it, they're great kids, so we love spoiling them when it's times
03:21 like this, but it's like that.
03:23 Like even like the Elf on the Shelf, doing stuff like that, they love that.
03:26 And sometimes it's a chore from time to time, they figure out something to do, but
03:31 we know the kids love it, they enjoy it so much.
03:33 So we just love bringing smiles to their faces and
03:35 just enjoying the Christmas season, the holiday season, and Thanksgiving season.
03:40 All the seasons, they love all the holidays, but top two is Thanksgiving and
03:43 Christmas.
