00:10 Two women were allegedly stabbed.
00:13 Sadly, one of those women died at the scene.
00:17 Police yesterday revealing her identity as 38-year-old Julia Seed.
00:21 The other woman, a 50-year-old from Henley Beach, she was seriously injured.
00:26 She was raised to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
00:31 Police did recover a knife and a hammer at the scene.
00:34 Investigations are still ongoing but police have said that there does not appear to be
00:39 any reasoning for this attack and that it was a completely random incident.
00:45 We have spoken to a number of people who have arrived at the scene this morning who have
00:49 dropped off bouquets of flowers.
00:52 Some of those did not know Julia.
00:55 Others were friends.
00:56 We have also spoken to neighbours in the area who have said that although this is a relatively
01:01 quiet suburb, this incident has left them very frightened.
01:06 This is the first kind of incident that I have ever encountered ever since I moved to
01:10 South Australia.
01:11 So it's a bit tragic and at the same time it is very scary.
01:16 I'm scared for my wife.
01:17 I'm also scared for my life sometimes.
01:20 We know that this 30-year-old man was known to police.
01:23 We have also heard from SA Health today who have said that he had previously been in the
01:29 Royal Adelaide Hospital undergoing treatment for a mental health condition.
01:35 It was on Monday that he was released from hospital.
01:38 SA Health's chief psychiatrist will be reviewing the circumstances around the patient's treatment
