00:03 A 33 to 19 victory for the Baltimore Ravens over the San Francisco 49ers.
00:08 And I gotta be honest, I didn't see this coming here.
00:10 And me being a Philadelphia Eagles fan, losing to Seattle,
00:13 looks like they can't get the one, so it didn't matter anyway.
00:16 The 49ers were going to be running the table.
00:18 I thought the Ravens would be able to give a solid effort in San Francisco.
00:21 They're a quality ball club.
00:22 But Davis, I didn't see 33 to 19 coming in,
00:25 particularly how weird the game actually started.
00:28 A safety, five to nothing, looks like San Francisco's rolling.
00:31 George Kittle is an animal in the first quarter alone.
00:34 But then you saw that Baltimore Ravens defense,
00:36 that only gave up about 160 yards per game through the air.
00:40 Really put the clamps down and opportunistic, to say the least.
00:44 Four interceptions from Brock Purdy, one from Sam Darnold.
00:46 They turned San Francisco over five times and
00:49 came away with a two touchdown victory.
00:51 I was so impressed by the Ravens yesterday, Davis.
00:53 >> Yeah, I mean, you have to be.
00:56 I think they showed, they definitely are the class of the AFC,
01:00 which is a conference that is so topsy turvy right now.
01:03 I mean, the Bengals kind of out of it,
01:05 which is not how it's been the last couple years.
01:08 The Bills having this crazy season where they lose games they're supposed to win,
01:12 win games they're supposed to lose.
01:14 The Chiefs, I mean, look, I hope we don't,
01:16 I don't wanna talk that much about the Chiefs today, but not their year.
01:20 Not their year, Donnie.
01:21 I think I can say it's probably not their year.
01:24 And Lamar, I mean, Lamar's a good guy I've always loved, so I'm not surprised.
01:28 I do on Friday a picks show on the Sports Grid Fantasy Football Podcast.
01:34 And me and my co-host, Rich Rebar, we both add the Ravens as either our favorite or
01:39 our second favorite bet against the spread of the entire week.
01:43 I think it really comes down to one thing, which is no one,
01:46 I don't think anyone can seriously doubt Brock Purdy at this stage.
01:51 But Brock Purdy is a point guard, right?
01:53 He executes the system.
01:55 Lamar is like an artist.
01:58 I mean, he can perform in the system, but he can also perform outside the system.
02:02 And that 30-yard scramble at the end of the half to add in that field goal,
02:07 that's just an example of Lamar and maybe Jalen Hurts are probably the only two guys
02:13 in the entire, and Justin Fields, actually, I'll give that to Fields, too,
02:16 are the only guys on Earth who can make something like that happen
02:20 out of absolute chaos.
02:23 And I think right now, the way that the odds market has it set with Lamar is
02:27 like the clear MVP favorite, I think it's right.
02:30 I think he has really been that good this season.
