00:02 Let me give you this, 'cause it's been a while.
00:05 I know we've been saying earlier in the show,
00:07 we've been waiting for this,
00:08 and waiting, and waiting, and waiting.
00:10 Alabama and Michigan, Texas and Washington,
00:12 Monday is finally the day that we'll be there.
00:13 And by the way, Joe, everybody should also know,
00:16 Sports Greed will have you covered,
00:18 pillar to post, Joe, for these games coming up on Monday.
00:23 That's for sure.
00:23 I know that me and Ranieri are doing in-game live
00:26 before the game.
00:27 You, Ben, and K-Dub will do college football today,
00:31 pre-game, leading into the first game.
00:34 Pharrell will be on with Blewett and Rich Terminello
00:38 during the first game.
00:39 And then you guys have the entire second game.
00:42 So wall-to-wall coverage, Joe,
00:44 of the semis coming up on Monday.
00:46 Can't wait, that's what it's all about.
00:48 At the mothership too, huh?
00:50 I can't wait.
00:52 At the headquarters, we got Pharrell.
00:55 Can't wait, this is what it's all about.
00:56 Great college football today.
00:58 Pre-game, two good games on tap.
01:00 You want me to give you the breakdowns?
01:01 I'll tell you who I like early on.
01:03 I mean, I've made no bones about it.
01:06 I like one favorite and one dog.
01:08 I like Michigan and I like Washington,
01:10 and I'm not backing down.
01:12 So come get some, Carver, you feel strong?
01:15 - So nothing's really changed for you when it comes to this.
01:18 Michigan minus one and a half,
01:20 44 and a half in the first game.
01:22 Texas now minus four.
01:24 That's come down a slight bit, Joe.
01:26 Wasn't that four and a half, five?
01:28 Maybe it was four and a half.
01:30 And the 63 and a half for the total in that game.
01:33 - Well, I mean, I think if any game's gonna get over,
01:37 it's that one because of how the quarterbacks
01:39 wanna push tempo with yours and Michael Pinnock's.
01:43 But I think Pinnock's has the weapons
01:44 to challenge them over the top.
01:46 I think he's more battle-tested.
01:48 He's got a little more experience.
01:50 And I think that's what allows him
01:51 to pull that ball game out.
01:53 And then the other, the reason why I like Michigan
01:55 over Alabama comes down to Alabama's offensive line.
01:59 And I know we keep saying about Michigan
02:01 hasn't seen the versatility of Jalen Milrow.
02:04 That offensive line is not the same.
02:06 You know, you talk about 40 plus sacks allowed,
02:08 you know, 4.7 yards per rush,
02:11 a little inconsistent in terms of third down opportunities.
02:14 And I understand body of work has been maybe more
02:17 for Alabama than there is Michigan,
02:20 but I'll take the blue collar team.
02:22 They're gonna run it and they're gonna continue to run it.
02:24 And don't be shocked if JJ McCarthy runs it
02:28 right down Nick Saban's drought.
02:30 - I know you always love when I give you stuff like this.
02:35 There are three times as many bets on Alabama,
02:40 the spread and the money line,
02:43 than any other team in the college football playoff.
02:47 - Love it.
02:48 - How about that?
02:49 Everybody run into the window
02:51 for Nicky and the Crimson Tide, Joe.
02:54 You love seeing stuff like this.
02:56 - I think I might alter it up to nine and a half
02:59 to get that double digit.
03:00 I might have to do that.
03:02 I gotta put it out there.
03:03 I mean, it could be a seven point or a three point game
03:07 headed into the fourth quarter.
03:09 Give me a Donovan Edwards or a Blake Coram
03:11 or a JJ McCarthy, Tutty,
03:14 to just put them over the top.
03:16 And Cap, nine and a half is as high as I'll go, Carp.
03:20 - Nine and a half is as high as you go.
03:23 I'm staying where I was, Joe.
03:25 I'm on Alabama in the first game.
03:28 And go ahead and give me the nine and a half.
03:31 When we do the picks on Friday,
03:32 you'll give me the nine and a half
03:34 on the radio show if you so like to.
03:36 And I'm with you on Washington.
03:39 I do think that Washington is the side in the second game.
