00:26 I decided to go to a country where girls are facing issues and this year I decided to go to Kenya and Rwanda to speak out for girls who are refugees and who are facing many problems.
00:37 They lack education, they are going through sexual violence and lots of other issues. So this is my campaign for this trip.
00:44 Here in Rwanda it was amazing meeting these young girls and Kelly Lace and also Angel and they both are amazing and the courage they have inspired me.
00:54 I met lots of other girls as well who have inspired me to believe that our future generation has the potential to go forward in their life and they have the potential to succeed in their life.
01:04 All they need is quality education and the government of Rwanda is working hard but however there are issues that there is lack of funding.
01:11 So my request on behalf of these girls would be to all international donors and countries that they should make education their top priority and should invest in these refugee children.
01:21 In general Rwanda is a very successful country in terms of women's empowerment in comparison not perfect but in comparison we can see that most of the parliamentarians are women and that is something that most of the developed countries have not achieved yet.
01:37 If you look at the UK or the USA so Rwanda is much better in that case.
01:41 I am very happy that I have met these girls and that they have the potential to succeed in their life.
