00:08 series build an artifact Indiana Jones in the last crusade Henry Jones senior
00:25 Indiana Jones races against the forces of evil to find the Holy Grail and keep
00:30 it from falling into the wrong hands kids and collectors alike can imagine
00:33 the action and venture of Indiana Jones with figures from the Indiana Jones
00:36 adventure series with exquisite features and decoration this series unearths the
00:40 quality and realism that Indiana Jones devotees love. I think while Indy's dad
00:46 listens to Nazis talking in their sleep we're gonna go ahead and grab the tape
00:49 measure and see how tall the figure stands and we'll bring in a couple of
00:52 the other Indiana Jones from at least the last crusade for comparison's sake
00:55 Henry Jones senior stands six inches exactly or the figure is going to be
01:00 about 15 centimeters tall. Out of the six figures that are part of this artifact
01:04 wave really only four of them are last crusade. Indy's dad here for example is
01:09 one of the four figures the other two that we've looked at was still one
01:12 remaining we still have to look at the Grail Knight but here's what Henry Jones
01:15 senior looks like with a son even though they really named the dog Indiana here's
01:19 what he looks like being Indiana Jones and here's also what she looks like or what
01:22 he looks like with one that chose the wrong goblets Dr. Elsa Schneider even
01:27 though really we've already finished the table top Henry Jones at least comes with
01:31 some of the finishing touches that can go on top of the table first of all he
01:34 comes in clear with this silver saucer the silver dish does actually have like
01:39 a little clip down below here if you look at actually the table there's these
01:42 slots on either side he only really fills one of them just take that plug
01:46 that in place now you've got yourself the actual dish that sits on top of the
01:49 table like it does in the movie he also comes in clue with these extra goblets
01:52 some of which you may choose in fact actually if you were to choose any one
01:56 of these you'd be choosing wrong and we all know the outcome of that but you get
01:59 one that's gold and adorned here with rubies you get one that's a little bit
02:02 more simpler and looks like it's made in silver and these actually do if you look
02:06 at the table have sort of these indentations there's not really
02:10 necessarily a specified place where they have to go but if you want just like
02:13 take them for example they can just sit on the table like that there is
02:16 technically one other goblets we're just gonna bring back in Elsa here give me
02:20 that we're gonna go ahead and take her goblet now we can also go there as
02:24 well I mean obviously anybody that would be going for the glitz and glam would
02:27 look go with a much larger looking goblet but again you'd be choosing wrong
02:31 he also comes in clue with a dish that's on fire the fire is nicely molded here
02:35 when what looks to be almost like an orangey red plastic and then they paint
02:38 at the bottom of it in yellow and that can also sit on top of the table I think
02:43 it sits more into the back but again actually I think it sits over here and
02:46 there's also a few touches still left to go the grail night when we look at him
02:50 will also come in clue with the sword and I think also the correct chalice
02:53 that's of course gonna go on the top there as well so at least we have some
02:56 of we have most of the table really if you didn't even really want to get the
03:00 grail night even though that is technically the right goblet to choose
03:03 you really already have the finished table I'm gonna carefully move it off
03:07 to the side without banging over any of them now the accessories that though are
03:10 specific to Henry is the fact that he comes first of all with a bag the bag is
03:15 made of really chunky plastic really heavy plastic in fact it does have some
03:19 nice weathering done to it similar in fact to actually Indiana Jones's jacket
03:23 it does have the class there on the top here in silver and Henry can actually
03:27 hold this in his hand but does add a lot of extra weight to it what's rather
03:31 ironic though is if you actually look at the figure itself which I'll bring more
03:35 in a moment he actually looks exactly I mean he has really the same building
03:39 blocks as Juergen that we've already had a look at I'm gonna bring that figure in
03:42 more in a moment but also though the figure comes included with his umbrella
03:46 hers parasol now uses this in the movie I mean he chases some ducks it was ducks
03:51 geese chases them on the beach he has that included that can of course fit in
03:55 the figures hands I mean all this talk of fitting things in figures hands let's
03:58 actually just do that take the parasol put the umbrella in his hand I don't
04:01 know why I'm calling it a parasol do you call it a parasol do you call an
04:04 umbrella do you call it the thing that keeps the rain off your head you can
04:08 also as well take the bag I just pride the finger actually a little bit away
04:11 from his hand and you can actually have him holding the bag that way as well the
04:15 problem with it though is that the thumb gets in the way of things and there's
04:18 what the figure looks like with both the umbrella and the bag he also as well
04:21 comes in clue with the diary the diary is what I'm guessing be molded in brown
04:26 they've painted the side that would be the pages and then actually the
04:29 elasticized part the last the elastic part that actually would wrap around the
04:32 book is nicely been painted in black as well and this can also really fit in his
04:36 hands although already occupied the spaces with both the umbrella and the
04:40 bag you're gonna have to really choose like choosing the goblet you're gonna
04:42 have to make sure you choose wisely as to which one you want to have displayed
04:45 with Henry Jones senior last of the figures accessories though involve me
04:49 first of all just to remove those other things everywhere I attached onto his
04:52 hands not that it really matters but just be a lot easier to kind of move the
04:55 figure around he comes included first of all his glasses in order to accommodate
05:00 a head sculpt this size they have to give him these really wonky looking
05:04 glasses they look like old TV antennas the glasses are really irregularly
05:09 shaped you can see like the lenses on the front are a nice translucent clear
05:12 plastic but I mean again to accommodate his face they have to give him these
05:16 really strange looking frames that are warped on the sides these fit just over
05:20 his ears I just want to hook it on the one side and then carefully without
05:24 dropping onto the floor now I've jinxed myself by saying that it actually hooks
05:27 nicely really on the other ear as well I feel it also fits his better his face a
05:32 little bit better than Jürgen we looked at before it's just unfortunately mean
05:35 so the glasses have to be extremely warped to accommodate his head sculpt
05:38 but at least they sit nicely on his face and it certainly does make him a lot
05:42 more even though he does bear a very strong likeness to Henry Jones senior
05:45 and also Sean Connery of course very famous actor that played the role I think
05:49 there's actually only a few years separated between that him and Harrison
05:53 Ford which is somewhat ironic as well but he certainly looks he looks the part
05:57 he looks a lot like Henry Jones and of course to complete that he also comes
06:01 with a hat that has a fairly soft plastic it's just a case of actually
06:05 fitting it over top of his head there is not really well there's a way
06:09 specifically put it you kind of have to put if you look at it like this these
06:12 little areas on the sides will clearly go over top of his ears he basically just
06:16 fit it over top of his head just be careful though you're not knocking the
06:18 glasses in the process I find it's actually easier put the glasses on first
06:22 then the hat on second and then you can enjoy the figure through the third it's
06:26 a really nice looking head sculpt overall and I think it's definitely one
06:29 of the better ones we've gotten here I mean I'm also comparing as well in the
06:32 mix for that the Bernaldo that we looked at earlier even though really like
06:35 Ronaldo does not does not I'm sorry belong at all in this wave now I did
06:40 mention earlier though dr. Juergen Waller if you bring the figure in in fact while
06:45 the jackets are very different and underneath the jacket is very different
06:48 also as well he happens to share the same arms and he also shares exactly the
06:53 same feet that these shoes look to be slightly different from one another
06:57 although really again looking at them they might actually be even identical to
07:00 so sharing yes the same legs same feet same arms also as well unfortunately
07:05 though it also means because he's using Waller's hands that Henry senior also
07:10 has a trigger firing hand for no apparent reason whatsoever seriously
07:14 though could they not have just I mean even just to bring in Indiana Jones from
07:18 also the last crusade what is it about all of these figures that they have to
07:21 have trigger firing finger hands and yet none of the figures really come in clear
07:25 with guns I don't think really did Indiana Jones yes he did came also in
07:28 clear with a gun but it makes a little more sense with India it makes a lot
07:31 less sense for Henry Jones so other than just the fact it's a little strange to
07:35 have his hand looking like this again it's really nice-looking Henry Jones the
07:39 jacket is gonna be a little bit tooled differently from Waller we looked at
07:41 from before he does have the vest underneath there that's a painted
07:44 slightly a darker shade of this beige that he has for his jacket the sleeves
07:48 actually match pretty closely also to the jacket that they've used for the
07:51 material because of course this is softer plastic this is a harder plastic
07:54 and the legs also match pretty consistently there also as well the
07:58 thing also about this though is one thing bringing back in Jorgen for
08:01 discussion is that he does have a ball joint right here at the base of the neck
08:05 and then of course he has the ball joint at the top of the head there but because
08:07 there is a ball joint right there the similar problem I really had with Waller
08:11 is because in order to accommodate a ball joint here it means it leaves this
08:15 cut area where it does look like the collar has been completely cut from the
08:19 rest of his shirt it looks a little out of place and honestly I feel like well
08:23 normally I'd be very embracing the idea of getting additional articulation for
08:26 these figures I feel like figures like this really could have easily just
08:29 benefited from ball joints in their head they didn't really necessarily need it
08:32 for the neck Indy maybe yes when it comes to his father I know you obviously
08:37 they're gonna be using the exact same bodies or kind of like the same building
08:40 blocks for the bodies I really don't think necessarily Henry needed to have
08:43 the articulation point right there because it means it sacrifices a very
08:46 obvious cut right there and it's on a shirt for the figures articulation
08:50 though carefully moving his head back and forth because I don't want to
08:53 actually knock the glasses off the head does rotate back and forth that looks up
08:56 it looks down and I already mentioned he does have also the ball joint at the
09:00 base of the neck so that also shifts back and forth too it doesn't shift to
09:03 the to the extent of Waller would before you know it you like the ties way off to
09:07 the side the bow tie stays pretty much in the center section of course
09:11 underneath all that he does also have a ball joint at the base of his body so
09:14 like right underneath his vest he has a ball joint that allows the torso to
09:17 rotate all the way around the arms come out easily at 90 degrees you could even
09:21 just say it goes even beyond 90 degrees but the arms do also rotate all the way
09:25 around on both sides he has a single hinge in the elbow but it allows at
09:29 least the form to rotate back and forth he also has again the hands that rotate
09:32 all the way around and when you look to the lower half of the figures body ball
09:36 joints are greeted to you at the door there's right two ball joints at the
09:39 base right there at the top of the thigh and three quarters of the way up the
09:42 thigh there's also a swivel cut so you can rotate those all the way around the
09:45 figure has a single hinge in the knee that allows at least as well the
09:48 rotation of the lower leg and like all the other figures we've looked at
09:51 already he also has an ankle pivot this way and an ankle pivot this way as well
09:56 nice-looking figure though really nice looking fear I'm actually the happiest I
09:59 feel with getting Henry Jones if it was just a case where I didn't wasn't even
10:03 all that concerned with building the table I still would have actually picked
10:07 up Henry Jones I still would have picked up Henry Jones because honestly I'm more
10:10 interested really in getting the Indiana Jones from the last crusade than
10:13 I really am getting figures from Indiana Jones in the dial of destiny bringing
10:17 those other figures we've already had a look at four figures out of six
10:20 criminal I feel because again like I really think that dial a destiny could
10:23 have easily been its own standalone wave and just sold the figure separately they
10:27 didn't even have to really belong with the table at all but we have one last
10:30 figure to look at one last figure that's the grail night and of course when it's
10:34 all said and done we can slide these figures all over here and we'll bring
10:40 back in of course the table that we've completed so far there's two left
10:43 things still to add there's a slot here on the side and there's also again like
10:47 the the one missing goblet the correct goblet the cup of Christ of course that
10:51 will be also completed when we look eventually at the grail night now I did
10:54 say that Sean Connery really wasn't that much older than Harrison Ford at the
10:57 time that the two actors filmed Indiana Jones the last crusade and actually
11:00 really the age difference between the two were only 12 years apart so you had
11:04 to suspend some disbelief the idea that Henry Jones senior would have followed
11:08 Indiana Jones when only he was 12 years old but the chemistry really between the
11:12 actors Sean Connery and Harrison Ford were movie magic when they were on
11:15 screen and if anything it's a shame that the two actors couldn't have come back
11:18 for a follow-up sequel because I would have loved to see continued adventures
11:22 with Henry Jones senior and his son hey why not even bring the dog in the mix
11:26 too as well now when it comes to a release here in plastic form I feel he's
11:29 more justified to get a release than say Ronaldo and it's still not gonna be
11:32 knocking the fact that we get ourselves dial of destiny figures but come on
11:36 Hasbro we get six figure slots to build the table could they not have in fact
11:40 been all Indiana Jones the last crusade even if you weren't teased by the idea
11:44 that Henry senior came in clue with parts for the table I still would have
11:47 bought him if he was sold separately now with all the things that he comes
11:50 included with I don't feel at all he's been wasted with plastic he comes in
11:54 clue with the umbrella which is necessary the bag of course included and
11:57 of course the diary are all things I feel the figure should have belonged
12:00 with and if that wasn't enough he comes in clue with things that you can adorn
12:03 the table with with only the few little slots remaining that are going to go
12:06 along with the grail night when we look at him in his upcoming review what do
12:10 you guys think of Henry Jones senior do you feel like he might be the best
12:13 figure from this wave I would say yes I'd say yes I know I said earlier
12:17 certainly that Ronaldo was the best-looking head sculpt but still I
12:19 don't think Ronaldo belong I'm sorry Antonio I know you're watching these
12:23 videos Antonio I have to say it though you really never belonged in as part of
12:26 this wave this wave solely should have been the last crusade and last crusade
12:30 only but man I'm so glad to finally get ourselves a Henry Jones senior that's
12:34 gonna go nicely on display with all the rest the Indiana Jones figures are
