00:16 It's shaping up to be quite a year in Birmingham with the opening of Masterchef Studios in
00:21 Digbeth Dew alongside film studios called Digbeth Lock from Peaky Blinders creator Stephen
00:27 Knight. There's also three Warehouse stations due to open in the south of the city at Moseley
00:33 Village, Kingsheath and Pineapple Road and a new live music venue opening in spring in
00:40 Sturchley and we look forward to bringing you all the news of those developments as
00:44 they happen. But it's not all good news, the city is also facing the fallout from the
00:50 council's effective bankruptcy notice in September with council tax rises and cuts to services
00:56 due. We'll keep you informed on all of those details as well as supporting an ongoing campaign
01:03 to reduce road deaths and fatalities on our roads to make life safer in Birmingham for
01:09 everyone. So we launched Birmingham World, a news, lifestyle and sports website just
01:15 over two years ago now with a mission to champion everything that is great about our city and
01:21 all of its achievements and we look forward to bringing you a lot more throughout 2024.
