00:54 Businesses are still struggling to open even though Brownout is still in Capiz.

01:27 The heavy permission of Brownout is the result of the replacement of three power plants that are affected in Panay Island.

01:40 The nearby islands of Guimaras and Negros Occidental are also affected, as well as Bacolod City.

01:47 At one point last night, the electricity produced in Shamza 13 power plants decreased by 0%.

01:54 According to the DOE, the boiler feed pump of Unit 1 of a plant of Panay Energy Development Corporation or PEDC was issued yesterday afternoon.

02:04 A unit of PAM Concepcion Power Corporation and another unit of PEDC were followed.

02:10 The entire Western Visayas is now together.

02:12 Under investigation, right now, the information is the initiating event was the sudden emergency shutdown of PEDC 1 at 83 megawatts.

02:24 Then, two hours later, around 2 p.m., two more units went down too much.

02:31 It's almost zero generation output for Panay Island.

02:35 We are also calling on NGCP, the main root cause of the problem, to give regular updates to the population so that we will understand the degree of their incompetence.

02:51 But the transmission of electricity is held by NGCP, not its production.

02:56 So if it will be put to use, it will not be the transmission that will be the issue.

03:00 There are of course transmission solutions, there are also generation solutions.

03:05 If you don't have power in the island, there is nothing to push and there is nothing to push with.

03:10 So now we are really just waiting for the power plant to go back online so that we can restore the system.

03:19 According to NGCP, aside from improving the transmission lines, it is also possible to have additional base load plants that will provide additional supply of electricity to Panay Island.
