00:02 - He's got a rib injury
00:04 and one that doesn't sound like it's very good.
00:06 They kind of played it off like nothing was wrong
00:08 after the game on Sunday, but as the week has gone on,
00:12 it sounds like it's actually a little bit worse
00:14 than they were letting on.
00:15 Here's Baker from yesterday, Scott.
00:17 He's saying, of course, he wants to be out there,
00:20 but he is feeling a little sore.
00:21 - Pretty sore, but I'll be good.
00:23 Just one of those things that, you know, it's tender.
00:27 I've dealt with rib injuries before,
00:28 but rest and just as the week goes on, it always helps.
00:33 - I know every rib injury is a little different
00:35 in the location and things like that,
00:36 but just how does that impact your ability
00:38 to function as a quarterback?
00:40 - You know, obviously didn't exactly test it out today.
00:43 Just more mental reps for everybody,
00:45 but yeah, just gonna see, like I said,
00:48 I haven't tested it out, so just gotta get loose.
00:50 And I'm sure by the time, closer to game time,
00:53 Adrenaline will be rolling,
00:54 especially with where we're sitting at right now,
00:56 situationally.
00:57 - Do you have any human characteristics
00:58 with any kind of setback or anything else since Sunday?
01:00 Just normal soreness?
01:01 - Yeah, normal soreness.
01:02 Just progresses throughout the week and keep going.
01:05 - Do you have in your mind
01:06 that you won't be out there Sunday?
01:08 - I'll do everything I can to be out there, that's for sure.
01:11 Division on the line, playoff hopes on the line,
01:13 going back to Carolina.
01:14 Yeah, I'll do everything I can.
01:15 - Yeah, listen, all I know is this.
01:19 I've had broken ribs and it is no joke.
01:25 I don't care what he says.
01:27 He's lying.
01:28 Okay, he's lying through his teeth.
01:30 Everyone I know that has ever broken ribs knows
01:34 you can't do jack with broken ribs.
01:37 You cannot breathe.
01:39 You cannot sleep.
01:40 You cannot get up from a sofa.
01:42 You cannot get in and out of a car.
01:45 I mean, it is like agony.
01:47 It is no joke.
01:48 If you tear rib cartilage or break ribs,
01:52 anyone saying, "I'm fine," they're lying.
01:57 It's that simple.
01:58 - They're lying indeed.
01:58 I agree.
02:00 And same thing with Bowles.
02:01 Bowles on Monday was like, "Yeah, he's gonna be fine."
02:03 And then yesterday he was like, "Yeah, we're gonna see
02:06 what the doctors say."
02:07 If he doesn't go, and he was limited today, by the way,
02:09 all he basically did was go out there
02:11 and throw the football around a little bit.
02:13 Kyle Trask is the backup for this must-win game for them.
02:18 In case Baker either can't go or goes and has to leave.
02:21 Minus four and a half for the Bucs,
02:23 37 and a half is the total.
02:26 I know it sounds nice, Scotty,
02:28 they're playing the worst team in the NFL this year,
02:30 but I think they're gonna have a problem on Sunday.
02:33 I really do.
02:34 I think this thing is gonna go down to the end
02:37 and I'm leaning towards taking the four and a half
02:39 with Carolina.
02:39 - Yeah, that's a dangerous way to make a living, boy.
02:43 I'll tell you what, like the Jaguars spanked that ass.
02:45 I think Tampa's gonna kill them.
