00:00 A retired general filed a complaint by PNP chief Benjamin Acorda,
00:07 who denied his name in a post about the support of President Bongbong Marcos.
00:14 The AFP and PNP leaders are now insisting that there is no need to cook up a destabilization against the Marcos administration.
00:23 Ian Crull was shocked.
00:25 "There is no forgiveness," said PNP chief Benjamin Acorda,
00:33 who is spreading misinformation that the AFP and PNP are trying to get their support back from President Bongbong Marcos.
00:41 It hurts me that there are people who just want their blog to be famous,
00:47 but they are spreading misinformation. No less than my face, the face of the chief of staff,
00:58 posted on viral and saying the AFP and PNP are withdrawing support or asking resignation of the president.
01:08 It's unforgivable. It's not right.
01:13 PNP is now investigating who is spreading misinformation on social media.
01:20 We don't tolerate these things. And the people are counting on us.
01:26 Our fellow countrymen know that we are making a huge sacrifice.
01:33 I hope that they will show a little respect, even if it's just in uniform. Don't post using this information just to create a viral blog.
01:45 Earlier, Acorda filed a complaint against the Anti-Cybercrime Law against a retired general who tried to escape from his post.
01:55 The defense force assured that the soldiers are still standing up to the Constitution.
02:01 According to AFP spokesperson Colonel Medel Aguilar,
02:04 no one heard the AFP's complaint about destabilization against the administration.
02:10 There's nothing like that in the AFP. We can assure the public that we are solid, we are united and we will continue.
02:16 We will focus on our mission. We will not be involved in those things because it will not be good for our country.
02:24 I hope that this message will be spread so that the people can understand.
02:31 We are confident that the active military personnel are professional and will follow the chain of command.
02:38 Yesterday, former President Rodrigo Duterte spoke to deny the allegations in the alleged vlog.
02:45 I'm comfortable with Marcos. Why should I replace him? And who am I to replace him at this time of my life?
02:55 For GMA Integrated News, Ian Cruz, for Tutok Tulog 24 Horas.
