00:00 All right, so we talked about the transfer portal and avenues that Ole Miss likely could go down over the next couple of weeks.
00:08 Three players that are unbelievably good and honestly with Ole Miss and their prognostications going into 2024, kind of makes a little bit of sense.
00:19 There's even a couple of pie in the sky type stuff to where, hey, can you convince this kid to not go to the NFL and play for your team?
00:27 So, really interesting stuff, but there's also avenues inside the program.
00:34 Now, we've talked for six months about Ole Miss having a type inside their program, and they absolutely do.
00:41 And we'll get to that in just a second, but one of the first players that we want to talk about is Ulysses Bentley IV.
00:47 And he has already accepted an invite to the Hula Ball, but that was before all this Quenshawn stuff started.
00:53 Last year, Ulysses Bentley had 95 carries for 540 yards and four touchdowns, an explosive player.
01:01 Ole Miss likely doesn't have the run they had against Georgia Tech.
01:05 They don't beat Arkansas potentially.
01:08 Ulysses Bentley was a bell cow type running back, and the number of carries, I have to think the number of carries he had was dwindled because of what Quenshawn demanded.
01:22 And he ended up with 278 carries or something like that, but 95 carries, that was nearly all the carries of the offense,
01:33 was because of the number of carries that Quenshawn took.
01:38 Quenshawn had nearly half of the carries in Ole Miss' rushing offense in 2023.
01:46 Just not enough for it to go down, especially when we're used to seeing what was happening with Snoop Conner and Henry Parrish and Jerry and Ealy.
01:55 It was weird to see one player get half of the reps.
02:00 And this is including Jackson Dart running the ball, all of that.
02:04 So it ended up with Ulysses Bentley not getting as much as he needed.
02:08 And if you look at this, at this rate, if he'd have gotten 200 carries on the season, he would have gone over 1,000 yards.
02:15 He was a much more effective yards per carry running back last season as well.
02:20 Now, a lot of that was everybody was concentrating on Quenshawn, and I get that.
02:27 But Ulysses Bentley had a really explosive year.
02:31 Now, the question becomes, does he come back?
02:35 Is there a chance he lines up in a Rebel uniform next season?
02:39 Because he has already committed to the Hula Bowl, but that's not binding.
02:43 He hasn't signed anything to go back to school or anything like that or go to the NFL.
