00:00 I can't change the haters and I'm okay with it.
00:03 I'm me and I love me.
00:05 - How do you block out so much negativity?
00:06 Does it bother you?
00:07 - I have to remain grounded in knowing that like,
00:12 I know who I am as a person.
00:14 So the people that don't know me,
00:16 I have to just kind of remember, they don't know me.
00:18 They know what they've seen in tabloids and online.
00:22 And a lot of tabloids could get a lot mixed,
00:26 like wrong and so incorrect information.
00:29 So I think that if people had the correct information,
00:33 perhaps they wouldn't hate me so much.
00:34 You know, they wouldn't hate on me so much,
00:36 but I can't change the haters and I'm okay with it.
00:39 I'm me and I love me.
00:41 - I want you to go back to your,
00:43 the struggle that you had with your role.
00:46 You've talked about this struggle that you did have
00:49 with your role playing in your mother's death.
00:51 What do you wish you could change, if anything, Gypsy?
00:54 - I would go back and change things if I could.
00:59 You know, I would definitely do things differently.
01:03 I wish that I could.
01:04 I unfortunately can't, you know, it's real life.
01:07 So you can't, you don't have a time machine.
01:10 So all I can do now is just do things
01:14 that in my life are positive.
01:16 Take a bad situation, turn it into a positive,
01:18 the best way I can.
01:19 - I remember my mom said,
01:22 "Happy endings are not just in fairy tales, they're real."
01:27 My mother controlled everything I did.
01:29 I was forced to use a wheelchair.
01:31 She started telling people that I had cancer,
01:35 but none of it was true.
01:37 There was also a lot of emotional and physical abuse.
01:42 I started to feel like it was either her or me.
01:47 - What's the lowest moment that you've experienced
01:49 with your mom that left you feeling the most desperate?
01:54 - Definitely when I tried to run away for the first time,
01:58 and I talk about this in my docuseries.
02:01 That was a really, really hard time for me
02:04 because I'm sure that scene was in the act
02:06 and in other documentaries also
02:09 that she chained me to the bed
02:11 and I was chained for two weeks.
02:14 So, you know, that was one of the moments in my life
02:17 that I'm kind of like, I can't keep living this way.
02:19 - This may be an odd question,
02:22 but is there anything that you do now to honor her memory?
02:25 - Actually, you know, it's funny that you say that
02:28 because she was cremated
02:31 and her ashes are with her side of the family.
02:34 And I always knew, like she always said
02:37 that she wanted to be buried with her mother.
02:40 And so I've reached out to family and asked them,
02:42 you know, "Please make sure you honor her wishes
02:45 in being buried with her mother."
02:47 - Hmm.
