00:00 Kaelin, I can see you, you know, it's an emotional night. I can see you getting emotional while Mike's talking, while Eddie's talking.
00:07 How much does this mean to you and what are you feeling for them in a moment where they won 21 straight but weren't able to finish the job tonight?
00:16 Yeah, I think it's pretty clear what these guys are made of.
00:23 And these are two of the leaders that have led us all year long and over the last two seasons.
00:30 When your hardest workers are your best players, you have good things happen.
00:37 And these guys led us in a way through, you know, great character.
00:43 And they've just grown as leaders and they brought a lot of people with them.
00:49 They held each other accountable to another level.
00:53 And when you see players care so much about what's happening on the football field,
00:59 when you see them love each other, when you see them have expectations,
01:04 when you fall short like we did tonight, you know, you just... I'm sorry.
01:10 I'm sorry that they couldn't realize a championship this year.
01:14 You know, because they made the sacrifices, they made the commitments,
01:19 the goals that they had, the work supported them.
01:25 And just tonight we couldn't get over the hump.
01:28 We couldn't make the plays to tie the score.
01:32 You know, sooner or later, they play a good football team like we played tonight.
01:37 You know, they find a way to get to the end here in the fourth quarter like they did.
01:42 I just feel bad for the guys because, you know, they've given so much to each other.
01:49 They've given to me everything, everything they possibly have, possibly can.
01:53 And, you know, that's why I feel the way I do because I miss them.
01:59 But I'm proud of them, proud of what they've done for our program,
02:02 proud of what they have brought to our university, our community.
02:06 And they've restored UW football,
02:09 given us expectations that, you know, what this program stands for
02:14 and what it wants to have each and every year.
