Meet the pampered pooch who has been on the cover of Dogue - Vogue for dogs - and has £10,000 wardrobe of designer outfits.

Leone Galler, 56, bought her 14-month-old long-hair chihuahua Willow in July 2022 after her two other dogs Reggie, eight, and Romeo, seven retired.

The pooch has a collection of luxury dresses worth hundreds of pounds each, as well as fancy handbags and collar bangles.

She has a bespoke self-care regime consisting of puppy perfume and designer conditioner for £56 which is applied to her long locks twice a month.

Her most expensive piece is a dress from Furdrobe worth £3,200.

Although Reggie and Romeo have retired from modelling they both have a wardrobe worth £20,000.

Leone Galler, 56, who manages Willow full-time, from Maidstone, said: "My two previous dogs used to model and I wanted to continue the tradition.

"Willow has become the little fashionista of the family. She really enjoys it.

"If Willow didn't enjoy it or bowed her head I wouldn't put her in the outfits.

"My neighbours call me the mad dog lady but I enjoy being at home with them so they are not on their own.

"Willow is a professional model and can earn products like designer dresses each shoot and all the money she earns goes to animal charities such as Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and Cats Protection."

Leone previously managed her two older pups Romeo and Reggie who went on to become award-winning models.

When retirement called, Leone knew she wanted a female dog and passed the modelling baton onto her.

Leone said: "Willow absolutely loves it. I enjoy it too - it is my full-time job.

"I love being at home with them.

"I think the others mainly retired because Willow wanted to be the centre of attention and she took the limelight."

Willow has more than 40 outfits in her wardrobe ranging between £120 to £3200.

Leone describes Willow's dresses as "all very pink and luxurious" - and loves buying "pretty" dresses for her after raising "two sons and two boy dogs".

Leone said: "A lot of the outfits are gifted by companies that want Willow to model their clothes.

"I keep all the gifts but have given some to charity as they no longer fit her."

In the evenings, Willow has a two-step self-care regime Leone swears by.

She said: “We don’t take Willow to the groomers because, as a long-haired chihuahua, we’re worried they’ll trim around her ears.

“But she does have a beauty regime which involves us bathing her in the sink. She’s far too small to sit in the bath!

“We use the Lauren Stone conditioner on her fur - and spray her with the same brand of perfume afterwards. She’s so good, and she loves it."

Willow can often work on five different photoshoots a day but Leone insists her schedule isn't grueling.

She said: "I get everything that she is going to wear in the morning.

"The shoots tend to take around 10 to 15 minutes each.

"She loves it. If she ever bowed her head or moved away I would stop but she seems to enjoy it.

"We post on social media every day. Yesterday I took five pictures of Willow and they will last five days."

When she isn't glammed up, Willow likes to run around a field like any ordinary dog.

Leone said: "She loves going to the beach with the boys or playing in the garden like any other dog.

"After the photoshoot is finished she turns into a normal dog and loves to play in the dirt."
