01:21 but it is always something that he felt that he would be.

01:48 - And Andy was like, "Oh, God, you're so fast."

01:52 - And that was the beginning of everything
01:54 between Andy and Jean-Michel.

01:58 - All of a sudden, we went from total poverty
02:02 to having so much money
02:05 that we didn't know what to do with it.

02:10 - He got paid in cash.
02:12 He got paid in drugs.

02:20 that he wasn't really allowed in
02:23 because it was a mostly white, affluent world.
02:30 - I think Jean became very paranoid
02:33 and suspicious of even Andy.
02:35 Andy had this reputation of being a vampire
02:38 and feeding off of younger artists.
02:41 - He felt guilty 'cause he dropped Andy.

02:49 - And then he really got into drugs.

02:53 - If I could have done anything to prevent that
02:56 from happening,
02:59 I would have and should have.
03:02 - The whole show was like a prophecy of his death.
03:07 It was like a goodbye.
03:10 Already I felt it.
03:12 - As his sister, almost 30 years later,
03:15 I continue to be saddened by the fact
03:17 that my brother isn't still here.
