00:00 "Without due respect, I wish people like you would stop commenting crap like this."
00:07 Tammy Slayton has a message for her haters.
00:11 The Thousand Pound Sisters star is firing back at social media followers who leave hurtful
00:17 messages.
00:18 She calls out one particularly mean comment left on a post she made of herself dancing,
00:25 pointing out that trolling her for her appearance amid her weight loss journey is bad for her
00:30 self-esteem.
00:31 "Without due respect, I wish people like you would stop commenting crap like this."
00:38 "It's not helping my confidence.
00:41 I was trying to like, 'Yeah, no, I can't dance.'
00:45 But I was trying to keep my confidence boosted.
00:49 And seeing comments about my chin or my teeth doesn't help none."
00:54 The reality star, who in recent years has undergone a dramatic weight loss transformation,
01:00 shares that she doesn't have the funds to make all the changes she wants to make at
01:04 once.
01:05 "Getting my teeth fixed costs money.
01:10 I don't have right now.
01:13 And I almost, like, I had to calm myself down before I replied to you.
01:21 Because I really wanted to go off on you.
01:22 I really wanted to tell you if you had a true problem with my teeth and pay for them yourself."
01:29 She goes on to encourage her followers to spread positivity, not hate.
01:34 "We should be lifting up each other.
01:37 It's sad.
01:41 And you're hiding behind a picture, or hiding behind a fake name and no picture.
01:46 So I know this is a hate comment, but it doesn't make it right."
01:52 "Why hate?
01:53 Why?
01:54 Why can't you just appreciate the hard work I put in?
01:59 Why can't you just appreciate that I'm still alive?
02:02 Yeah, I have flaws.
02:05 I'm human."
02:07 Tammy has been documenting her health journey on her TLC reality series.
02:12 After undergoing bariatric surgery in July of 2022, she now weighs in at around 285 pounds,
02:20 down 440 pounds from her highest weight of 725.
02:27 And it's the small milestones that are actually proving to be extremely meaningful to Tammy
02:32 on her path to a healthier life.
02:35 On a recent episode of Thousand Pound Sisters, the reality star was able to sit in the front
02:40 seat of a car for the first time in nearly 20 years.
02:49 "There you go, girl.
03:00 Holy s***."
03:03 She told People, "One of the big changes that I have gone through this past year is probably
03:08 small to most people," adding, "But for me, it was huge."
03:13 "I'm so happy for her."
