00:23 when I was eight years old, when I got my first dirt bike.
00:26 And so I did motocross first on two wheels.

00:31 I wanted to make it my entire life
00:33 for as long as I could make it.
00:34 But as you know, on a dirt bike, it comes with cost,
00:38 and that's your body.
00:41 But when I transferred into four wheels, it just kept climbing.
00:44 And went in a trophy truck, racing Baja.
00:47 I've done all sorts of different disciplines.
00:49 And now I am with Can-Am racing my dream.

00:55 Now I come from racing where it's like, pedal to the metal.

00:59 In this, it's a lot about patience.
01:00 And I think it's a lot about the navigation.

01:09 Maybe being a female, we have less of a hothead
01:12 on our shoulders, where we're able to kind of mellow
01:17 out our thoughts and kind of be on this neutral level playing

01:39 And I have access to tons of road books through him.

01:44 He told me not to be a slouch on the first day.
01:47 And I was like, listen, I've never done this.

01:53 Yeah, I know it's a long race.
01:54 So it's like, you can't be bummed.
01:55 We finished.
01:56 We didn't have any big disastrous things happen.

02:03 And what I mean by that is like, I
02:04 don't want to send it off a dune and destroy my whole front end
02:08 or be out of the rally because of that.

02:19 The first year, I feel like if you go to Dakar
02:22 and you think you're going to win that first year,
02:24 it's going to humble you up real fast.
