00:00 characteristic that you can teach or is that just luck?
00:03 I think it's, I think that they have tough shot makers.
00:07 I don't know if you watched the game last night, the Iowa State-Houston game.
00:11 It was a tie game with 56, or 20, 36 seconds and
00:14 the guy made a yoke-age fadeaway on the baseline, a freshman.
00:19 And some guys make big shots, they have a lot of big shot makers.
00:25 And then they, the one thing that I love about Coach Hurley and
00:30 the program is they've been down 17 in the second half late and
00:34 they just start doing what?
00:36 It's really like old school havoc, like that old VCU, like full court pressure,
00:41 making teams play fast, getting disruptive, trying to get you out of your
00:46 mindset, getting you to play faster than you want to, and then they're on attack mode.
00:53 Some people can sit there and say, well, shot selection is not,
00:56 they have confidence and they play like that.
00:59 And that's why playing from behind, why they're really good.
01:01 So, well, I think they've won close games because they have,
01:07 in tough situations, they've got multiple guys that can make big shots.
01:11 Their five man shoots the most threes on their team.
01:13 He's only shooting 29%, but he made a huge one against Stanford
01:16 when the game was on the line.
01:20 And I think that's been one of the reasons why they've had the success,
01:26 because they're disruptive enough on defense that
01:30 those types of things give them energy.
01:34 So not turning the ball over will be a huge part of our game plan of being poised
01:39 versus their pressure.
