00:00 >> On the team right now, I mean, how does it feel to have some of these younger
00:02 guys coming in and asking you what, looking to you for leadership?
00:06 >> Yeah, just kind of all the guys who like my class and
00:10 giving the class before me to me and then kind of just
00:15 stuck together through all the things we went through.
00:18 And I think that's kind of what made us stronger, like core in this team.
00:23 All the guys who stayed through all the things we went through,
00:26 we kind of have that strong relationship because we went four and eight, 2021.
00:31 We went through so many changes, like you guys said.
00:34 So we felt that we wanted to rebuild this team, go into championships.
00:40 So having that tight core that we all had and
00:43 just having that confidence in everybody again, man, it feels awesome.
00:48 >> You might have been asked this question already.
00:50 You came in with a pack for us, right?
00:53 Which pack was it?
00:54 >> Left. >> Left pack.
00:55 >> So, and there was the thing, you couldn't even bench like 200 pounds or
00:59 something like that, right?
01:01 Are you up to, where are you at?
01:02 >> Yeah, I'm up to 245 now.
01:04 >> Okay. >> Yeah, 245.
01:05 >> So still not where a guy your size normally would be.
01:08 >> Yeah, but it's definitely so much improved.
01:10 >> Okay. >> Yeah, improved greatly.
01:12 >> How does that help you with what you're trying to do along the defensive line?
01:14 Cuz a lot of it's anchoring and that's the lower body.
01:17 But what does that help you with now?
01:20 >> Pressing blocks, man.
01:21 >> Okay. >> Yeah, that's like a lot of upper body
01:22 would just be like pressing blocks, getting off of blocks.
01:25 Just being able to bench press the all-time and all.
01:27 That's where like the, I mean, I feel like my upper body is not a problem when it
01:31 comes to football, it's just lifting.
