The Denver Broncos rookie class had some typical ups and downs this season including Pro Bowl selection Marvin Mims.
Transcript
00:00 I thought, I think it's a really good rookie class.
00:03 You didn't see it on Sundays all the time.
00:05 We see it in practice.
00:07 Obviously Marvin Mims had a pro bowl year as a returner.
00:10 Work in progress as a receiver, but he had some really big moments.
00:16 Riley Moss, we feel, is a starter in this league.
00:18 And he was one of our best special team players, if not our best.
00:23 And we see it in practice.
00:25 We see the cover skills, and we see the transition quicks, the toughness, and
00:28 the instincts.
00:29 You saw it a little bit in game.
00:30 He played a little bit of the dime roll.
00:33 Drew Sanders, same, big upside.
00:36 He played inside, he played outside.
00:37 Started coming on late in the year, and it was really good on special teams.
00:42 I'll probably leave someone out, but JL Skinner got an opportunity
00:45 this past weekend and excelled on teams.
00:47 We see it in practice, the range, the physicality.
00:50 Scout team player of the week multiple times.
00:53 And then Alex Forsyth, we feel he's a starter in this league, it's center.
00:57 And then you look at the free agent class, college free,
01:00 Jaleel McLaughlin, Nate Atkins.
01:02 And then there's a number of others that we feel can play.
01:04 And so, much like some of the others,
01:07 McMillan, J-Mac, McMillan, who first year got to play in the last game and
01:14 then grew the entire off season when he got his chance, he excelled.
01:18 We feel there's a number of the players in this class that can make that jump as
01:22 well.
