00:00 The rain continues here in some parts of Southern Luzon and Eastern Visayas.
00:05 It still follows the shear line where the cold North East Monsoon and the hot Easter Leaves are.
00:12 Our North East Monsoon or Amihan is still strong and affects the remaining part of Luzon.
00:16 And it is slowly bringing a decrease in temperature especially in the early morning.
00:21 While the Easter Leaves are still bringing hot weather here in some parts of Visayas and a large part of Mindanao.
00:28 There are also some dry areas where it rains.
00:30 We still don't see any typhoons or low pressure areas where the Philippine Area of Responsibility may enter in the next 3 days.
00:38 The rainy season is still expected here in the Bicol Region and Quezon.
00:43 If not here in Luzon, it is still affected by the shear line or the cold and hot air.
00:48 Be careful of possible floods and landslides if the heavy rains continue there.
00:54 For our fellowmen here in Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Calinga and Apayaw,
00:59 it is still expected that the house will be flooded due to the effect of the North East Monsoon or Amihan.
01:05 In nature, we have light and moderate rains.
01:08 While here in the remaining part of Luzon, the part that is cloudy until the sky is cloudy in general,
01:14 it is affected by the North East Monsoon.
01:16 The rains are more frequent here in Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
01:21 That is because of the Amihan. The nearby towns here in Quezon,
01:25 just like here in Rizal and Laguna and other provinces in the Cordillera Region,
01:29 the chances of heavy rains are also high.
01:32 In terms of temperature, here in Metro Manila, it is already going down, especially in the early hours.
01:37 It is possible that the temperature today is up to 22 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature.
01:40 While in Baguio, it is possible that it will go down to 13 degrees Celsius.
01:44 It may go down even lower.
01:46 In other places, here in Benguet and here in Ifugao and Mountain Province.
01:51 For our fellowmen here in Visayas, the most likely to rain is the eastern Visayas.
01:57 The entire eastern Visayas, expect that the rains and thunderstorms will be strong
02:01 that may cause floods and landslides.
02:04 We will also issue advisories and heavy rainfall warnings.
02:09 In the remaining part of Visayas, there are rains as early as this morning here in Panay Island.
02:16 This is the effect of the Northeast Monsoon or the heavy rainfall.
02:21 But for the rest of Visayas, the central portion, the Negros Provinces,
02:26 expect that it will be cloudy until the sky is cloudy.
02:29 There is a high chance of heavy rains, especially in Northern Negros and Northern Cebu.
02:33 By the afternoon, the chances of rain will be low here in the southern portion of Central Visayas.
02:39 For our fellowmen in Mindanao, the weather conditions are almost the same as yesterday in Iral.
02:44 Parts of the region are cloudy and some parts are sunny.
02:47 There are only some heavy rains here in Davao Region and parts of Soxargene in the morning.
02:52 Then, there are localized thunderstorms, especially in the Caraga Region and Davao Region
02:57 from the afternoon to the evening.
02:59 When it comes to temperature, expect that in Metro Cebu, it will be between 26 to 30 degrees Celsius.
03:05 While it is hot here in the southern portion of Mindanao,
03:08 please take note that in Davao, it is up to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:12 While in Zamboanga City, it is up to 35 degrees Celsius.
03:15 So stay hydrated and bring an umbrella to avoid the heat.
03:19 Because the northeastern portion of our region is still low,
03:23 or the strong winds here in the southern portion of Visayas,
03:25 expect that the gale warning or the high waves here in the northern and eastern coast of Northern Samar,
03:31 in the eastern coast of Eastern Samar,
03:33 and here in the northern and eastern coast of Catanduanes,
03:36 the waves there are up to 4.5 meters high.
03:40 It is dangerous for small sea vehicles.
03:42 Imagine that the waves are up to one and a half floor of a house.
03:47 But take note that in the neighboring towns of Luzon and Visayas,
03:51 the waves will be up to 4 meters high.
03:54 Here in the neighboring towns of Quezon, Oriental Mindoro and Romblon.
03:59 While in the Ilocos Region, the waves are still up to 3.5 meters high
04:04 because of the continuation of the northeastern monsoon until the weekend.
04:08 In the coming days, the northeastern monsoon will still be expected to be in large part of Luzon.
04:14 So our shoreline here in the Bicol Region,
04:17 possibly will go down here in Visayas.
04:19 So it means that the Bicol Region will improve the weather there by Sunday and Monday.
04:24 But for the entire Luzon, in general,
04:26 the part of the region that is cloudy until the sky is cloudy,
04:29 will be accompanied by light rain if there is eastern side facing the Pacific Ocean,
04:33 and there will be light rain for the rest of Luzon.
04:37 So if here in Metro Manila,
04:39 the next three days will be cloudy until the sky is cloudy,
04:42 and sometimes the chance of rain will be low.
04:44 Here in Baguio City, it will be sunny in the morning,
04:47 ideal for our walk, and the chance of rain will be low.
04:51 Here in Legazpi City in particular, in the southern portion of Bicol,
04:54 it will still be rainy tomorrow,
04:55 it will improve the weather by Sunday and will continue until Monday.
04:59 For our fellow citizens in Visayas,
05:02 as we mentioned earlier,
05:04 it will be rainy in the eastern portion,
05:06 and sometimes it will be heavy over the weekend.
05:08 It will be easier if we need to coordinate with our local
05:12 Disaster Reduction and Management Offices
05:15 if there are flood and landslides.
05:18 Here in Visayas, the central portion like Metro Cebu,
05:22 it will be cloudy until the sky is cloudy until the middle of January.
05:26 While here in Panay Island, it will still be rainy.
05:30 Capiz and Aklan, which are the other two boracay,
05:33 the chance of rain is high there.
05:36 While in Iloilo City, it will be rainy often,
05:38 until the afternoon and night for the next three days.
05:41 Lastly, for our fellow citizens in Mindanao,
05:44 the shearline will be low until Sunday and Monday.
05:48 So it means that by Sunday,
05:50 there will be rain in the Caraga Region and Davao Region,
05:54 and possibly by Monday,
05:56 there will be rain in the northern Mindanao Region.
06:00 So be careful of flood and landslides,
06:03 and bring an umbrella.
06:05 But by tomorrow, it will be cloudy until the sky is cloudy in the majority of Mindanao.
06:09 And please take note, it will still be hot,
06:11 especially on the western sides,
06:13 in Cotabato City, General Sando City, and Zamboanga City,
06:17 the maximum temperature is possible of 34 to 35 degrees Celsius.
06:22 The sun will still shine at 6.24 in the morning,
06:26 and set at 5.44 in the afternoon.
