00:00 Are you worried at all about Kyle?
00:01 I mean, you're not worried because you don't care about the outcome.
00:03 Yes.
00:04 But like, are you worried about Kyle coming out like, you know, trying to be something
00:10 different than what they've always been, which is run game defense play action.
00:14 Are you worried about that?
00:15 Let's talk about it.
00:16 Let's talk about what's at stake for Kyle Sanahan against the Packers.
00:19 This has been a very good year for Kyle.
00:21 Again, regular season.
00:22 You could argue it's been his best regular season yet.
00:25 It's been terrific.
00:28 No one cares if he loses this game and no one expects him to lose this game.
00:33 But look what just happened to Mike McCarthy.
00:34 A lot of people expected that.
00:35 Maybe some didn't.
00:36 I didn't.
00:37 He loses.
00:38 And now you go from talking about, you know, him being one of the best coaches in the league
00:46 to getting fired or Dan Quinn talking about him going to maybe Seattle to be the head
00:52 coach to getting fired.
00:53 Potentially.
00:54 That's how bad Dan Quinn was.
00:56 Now, Kyle, if he finds a way to lose to the Packers, really, they're a really good team.
01:00 It wouldn't be a total mess up.
01:04 How would people look at him now?
01:05 It would be a mess on the way to like wiggle out of responsibility, right?
01:10 Like if Brock gets hurt, it's no one's fault.
01:12 If Brock does a bunch of picks, it's Brock's fault.
01:15 And if the defense gives up a bunch of points, it's on Steve Wilks.
01:19 But I wonder if eventually or ultimately people will look at Kyle like, Hey man, you can't
01:23 you can't keep throwing subordinates under the bus when it's you.
01:27 So I think a lot at stake for him in this game.
01:30 It is.
01:31 He has to.
01:32 He has to prove you can get over the hump.
01:33 Otherwise, he's he's the Dak Prescott of coaches at some point.
01:36 Right.
01:37 He's got he's got to go all the way, man.
01:39 This is the team.
01:40 This is the year to do it.
01:41 And really, no excuses should matter at this point.
01:45 I mean, if you're not going to win it this year, when are you going to win it?
01:48 Cause it has got to come out and be to me, it would be a disaster if they don't beat
01:52 the Packers.
01:53 It'd be a disaster in general.
01:55 This team is too damn good.
01:57 Even to Sean Gibson just said it's the best team he's ever been on in his entire career.
02:02 And he's been playing for a long freaking time.
02:05 Kyle Shan has put himself in position to win two Super Bowls and folded in those two moments.
02:11 He's got to get over that hump.
02:13 And if he doesn't, it's horrible.
02:15 He becomes the Dak Prescott of coaches at some point, man.
02:19 He's got to do it.
02:20 He's got to do it.
02:22 There's a lot at stake for Kyle.
02:24 Now he's not going to lose his job and he's going to be back here competitive again next
02:28 year.
02:29 He's not going to lose his job, but no someone, if they lose to the Packers, someone's losing
02:33 their job.
02:34 And obviously the easy scapegoat is Wilks.
02:38 Just like with the Cowboys.
02:41 Don't be surprised if Dan Quinn gets straight up fired for what happened and they replaced
02:46 him with a wink Martindale.
02:50 You know, I crazy about Quinn.
02:53 He was, he was supposed to get all these head coaching opportunities, but how do you hire
02:57 him as a head coach after what happened yesterday?
02:59 Nah, man, he's going to have to find another defensive coordinator job and it could be
03:03 with the Niners.
03:04 That's a good one, but although I'm not sure he's better than Wilks, but I'm saying if
03:10 the Niners lose to the Packers, someone's getting fired and it won't be Kyle.
03:14 It'll either be scapegoated.
03:16 It'll be Wilks or Purdy.
03:17 And we're either going to be having the conversation, man, Wilks, Purdy melted down again.
03:23 Is he that guy or geez, Wilks had a really good year, but first playoff game couldn't
03:28 do it like this guy.
03:29 This isn't good enough.
03:30 D'Amico did good in his first playoff game.
03:33 Solid in his first playoff game.
03:34 So a lot to stake for Wilks in this game.
03:36 Really, no one cares what you did in the first half of the season, the first season.
03:40 I mean, regular season.
03:41 Hypothetical Purdy melts down in this game and we see a Browns game.
03:48 What happens to Brock Purdy?
03:50 Great question.
03:51 Well, I could tell you what the conversation would be all off season.
03:55 Yeah, it would be that legitimate is Brock as a franchise quarterback.
03:59 Is he a product of the system?
04:00 Is he a game manager?
04:01 Do you try to do too much?
04:02 Is he the guy for the future?
04:03 Should they draft another quarterback?
04:05 All those conversations come up if he, if he loses this game and he throws picks.
04:09 Yeah, there's a lot to take for the Niners.
04:11 There's a lot of pressure.
04:12 There's no pressure on the Packers.
04:13 They're already way ahead of where they should be.
04:16 Beating the Cowboys was great.
04:18 They celebrate like they won the Super Bowl.
04:19 They beat the Niners too.
04:20 Oh my goodness.
04:21 The Niners, if they lose this game, Oh my God.
04:26 Yes.
04:27 The biggest collapse ever.
04:28 It's a, I mean, you look at everyone differently.
04:30 That point, Kyle could point the finger to whomever, but you look at him differently.
04:34 You look at Brock differently.
04:35 Look at Steve differently.
04:36 Look at Bosa differently.
04:37 Like again, guys, you kept this group together for four years to do this.
04:41 Again, got to win this game.
04:42 It doesn't matter if it's by one point, you've got to win this game.
04:46 Yeah.
04:47 And I fully, I fully expect them to.
04:49 It is weird to think that the Niners could be one and done.
04:53 It's a possibility.
04:55 It's very like happens a minute possibility.
04:58 I mean, there's a possibility it's going to rain in this game.
05:00 Yeah.
05:01 I know this Sunday is, is it going to rain Saturday as well?
05:04 I don't know.
05:05 Yeah.
05:06 I haven't talked to mother nature yet, but I'm going to talk, see what happens.
05:09 See what happens.
05:10 It's a possibility, man.
05:11 I mean, it, the night, it's weird to think that this season has a possibility of ending
05:16 on Saturday and I just can't accept it.
05:19 I just don't think that that's going to happen.
05:20 I think the Niners are going to live up to what they, their potential this year.
05:27 Maybe that's the Homer and me talking, man, but I really just got, I gotta see the Niners
05:33 when I want my kids to see a Superbowl win.
05:35 And I feel like everything, I mean, all these achievements and awards and records that they're
05:39 breaking, it reminds me of those nineties teams that used to win Superbowls.
05:44 And I feel like that's where they're headed.
05:46 That's the trajectory.
05:47 It's feels like a special season.
05:48 I refuse to accept the fact that this is going to end on Saturday.
05:51 I don't, I don't see that happening.
05:53 Short week for the Packers fourth road game in their past five.
05:57 Yeah.
05:58 I mean, they, the nine, 19 people on their end.
06:01 And that's even more reason why things would go really weird if the Niners lost, because
06:07 it's a seven seat.
06:08 It's the youngest team in the league.
06:10 You're the fourth oldest team in the league.
06:12 The Packers are only going to be better next year.
06:14 You're not going to be as good next year.
06:16 You gotta win this game.
06:18 Otherwise people are looking at you a lot.
06:21 Like they look at the Cowboys right now.
06:23 Yeah.
06:24 A lot like they look at that.
06:25 They look at McCarthy.
06:27 Like they look at Quinn and Prescott.
06:29 That's that's what's waiting for the 49ers.
06:31 If they lose this game, no one cares.
06:34 Is juice going to be better next year?
06:35 Is Kittle going to be better next year?
06:37 Is Debo going to be Trent Williams?
06:39 No, this is the year.
06:40 You know who is going to be better this next year?
06:42 I think in my opinion is the NFC West.
06:45 And I think Seattle might be at the bottom of that.
06:47 I can see the Cardinals being better next year.
06:49 Man, Puka no Kua is the truth, brother.
06:51 I think the Rams can wait better than I realized.
06:53 He's so good.
06:54 He's hella good.
06:55 Like the Rams could be good.
06:57 Cardinals could be good.
06:58 We'll see what happens with the Seahawks in their coaching, but they don't really have
07:00 a quarterback to me to make them better.
07:02 But NFC West could be better next year.
07:04 And the Niners are aging.
07:06 This is the year, man.
07:07 They got to make it happen.
07:08 I feel like they're going to.
07:10 Hadrian Medina says Nick Bosa has to show up in this game.
07:13 Last year in the playoffs, he recorded zero sacks, but yet still got paid $122 million.
07:16 It's time for Nick to show up.
07:18 Yeah, he's been real professional all year talking to the media.
07:22 Maybe that's his way of like getting us to not talk about the fact that he had like 10
07:26 sacks this year and wasn't all pro.
07:29 First team, second team, like kind of had a down season for his standard and for his
07:33 price point.
07:34 So if you can step it up now, no one, no one will care how much money you're making.
07:39 It would be great if his entire pass rush stepped it up right now.
07:42 Now's the time.
07:43 Right.
07:44 Yep.
07:45 And don't let love out of the pocket, please.
07:46 Keith Murphy, the unbeaten says side note, I hope Seattle hires Dan Quinn.
07:51 Hmm.
07:52 Yeah, that guy's going to be a D coordinator next year, somewhere other than Dallas.
07:56 That's my hot take.
07:57 Maybe here.
07:58 Ben, some metal for it says Brock going to throw four picks and Jones will dominate.
08:05 Damn.
08:06 No, I don't know about four.
08:09 Nah.
08:10 Lawless light says this has to be the year we are the oldest team in the NFC at this
08:14 point.
08:15 Yeah, it has to be.
08:17 You can't keep running it back.
08:18 It's been four years.
08:19 Chris Hooper, Grant got to talk.
08:21 Take me to prom if the Niners win the Super Bowl.
08:24 Do it.
08:25 Do it.
08:26 Do it.
08:27 Do it.
08:28 Do it.
08:29 Yeah.
08:30 Belligerent ideas has been a member for twenty eight months.
08:31 All right.
08:32 Cool.
08:33 Thank you.
08:34 Chris Tallarico says Ryan, that's what I meant by playmaker quarterback.
08:36 Brock can't hit half those throws.
08:37 Love did Brock Purdy's good and processes his reads quickly, but he's not hitting fade
08:41 away touchdowns.
08:42 I'd rather have love.
08:44 Easy choice.
08:45 He processes pretty well, too, man.
08:47 Yeah, they both brought Stroud processes.
08:49 Well, loud love process as well.
08:52 They do have better arm strength, but I do.
08:54 The first thing I noticed about Brock Purdy way like his first preseason, I called him
09:00 a playmaker because he sees the field.
09:02 He can come off script.
09:03 Brock Purdy is a playmaker, man.
09:04 Don't get it twisted.
09:05 He is.
09:06 It's just he's a little limited in his arm talent.
09:09 Yeah.
09:10 Sometimes he tries to write checks that his butt can't cash.
09:13 You got to be careful about that.
09:15 Don't be overdrawn.
09:16 My dad used to used to say that expression all the time.
09:20 It's a terrible expression.
09:21 Such a dad thing to say.
09:22 Yeah.
09:23 I think there's a lot of people that are going to be like, Oh, I'm not going to be
09:26 a dad.
09:27 I'm going to be a playmaker.
09:28 I'm going to be a playmaker.
09:29 I'm going to be a playmaker.
09:30 I'm going to be a playmaker.
09:31 I'm going to be a playmaker.
09:32 I'm going to be a playmaker.

09:41 I'm going to be a playmaker.
09:42 I'm going to be a playmaker.
09:43 I'm going to be a playmaker.
09:44 I'm going to be a playmaker.
