00:00 My name's Josephine Finch. I'm from Herne Bay but I live in Canterbury. I'm a make-up
00:09 artist and a mum of three children. I really like old-worldy sort of things. I like to
00:16 feel like I'm living back in time a little bit. I don't like to go for the traditional
00:21 contemporary looking things. I like to have things that have got a story behind it, a
00:26 little bit like 1940s. So I like a bit more of a cosy home, like you've fallen down a
00:32 rabbit hole. A lot of it I find at vintage fairs, my nan's old stuff that I've taken
00:39 here, charity shops, old furniture shops and things like that. I don't really find anything
00:45 specifically anywhere. I just find things and if I like it then I'll buy it. But I don't
00:50 ever buy anything brand new. I always buy things that have already had been lived in
00:56 and already have a bit of a life already. So everything in the kitchen has been made
01:01 out of old scaffold boards that he's reclaimed, sanded down and then built them into a bespoke
01:06 kitchen. I really like the idea of a snow white sort of kitchen, all wooden, little
01:11 hearts carved out. So I said to my partner that I really like that look and he made it
01:16 happen for me. So I'm quite lucky there that he can be really hands-on and he's so clever
01:20 at things like that. I don't actually know how much it's cost because everything I buy
01:25 is always like I say a bargain buy. I've never really sat and added it all up but it
01:30 would probably be cheaper than somebody moving in and buying everything from you.
01:34 The next room that I want to do is my bathroom and I actually want one of them old, like
01:40 you know like the cast, like the tin baths. I want one of them baths up on a little platform
01:46 and I want to have some brickwork behind it. So that's my next project. I really want
01:51 to do it but obviously time and things like that, family, it's always quite difficult.
01:54 But I'll be looking through some farm somewhere for like an old tin bath that's just been
02:00 disposed of but that will definitely be my next thing.
