00:14 Okay then Lucy, how much did you enjoy putting on the performance?
00:17 I absolutely loved putting it on, it was such an amazing experience, I can't wait to do it all again.
00:22 And how important do you think it is that we use performance and putting on a show like that to sort of engage the children in their learning?
00:28 I think it's so important, not every child has a chance to experience theatre and we love bringing that to them but also being educational and teaching them.
00:37 And children were engaging, they were loving it, they were shouting out answers, I feel like they really learnt from what we've done.

01:01 Okay, can you just tell me what the Science Bods initiative is all about and how it benefits the children's learning?
01:06 So really it's an opportunity to give learners of all abilities in our school the opportunity to engage with science and we've seen that in a really big way.
01:18 Historically we've always had the Bods into school each year, we've had Eco-Bods, Science Bods, Number Bods, PSHE Bods and the way we've seen learners engage with them has just been fantastic.
01:31 This particular performance from Science Bods was so closely matched to the Key Stage 1 objectives.
01:38 So for example this afternoon we will be holding a science lesson based on materials and their properties and that was really portrayed fabulously in that performance.
01:50 I love the way that they engaged the children, they got the children up and engaged in the performance and there was a wide range of abilities there with the learners.
02:03 And particularly for those children who find it challenging to record their thoughts in class, to see them engaging like that verbally was just fabulous.

02:32 Ok then Freddie how much did you enjoy the performance?
02:35 Good, I like when I learned about if you have a backbone it's called invertebrae and if you don't have a backbone it's called invertebrae.
02:56 Ok good, did you enjoy it Chloe?
02:58 Yeah
02:59 What was the best bit for you, which bit did you enjoy the most?
03:01 All the planets, like when all the seas in circles around the sun.
03:09 Ok, and do you find it better learning that way than just learning about something in a textbook?
03:13 Yeah because there's like games.
03:16 Is it fun?
03:17 Yeah
