00:00 >> What kind of challenges does Jordan Love present,
00:02 what's the key to defending him?
00:05 >> He's really good at going through his reads, playing the offense to a tee.
00:10 And we definitely need to stop the run.
00:14 I don't think many teams have made him uncomfortable yet.
00:16 So stopping the run and making him and
00:19 covering up those easy open guys is something we have to do.
00:23 >> So much attention this season was on you guys.
00:26 I know plenty of fun you got, but a little bit of surprise that those two teams are gone.
00:32 >> If you asked me earlier in the year, yeah.
00:33 But as you see the season go on and the playoffs, stopping the run and
00:40 running the ball is how you win.
00:43 And those two teams didn't do it very good, so they're out.
00:46 >> Nick, what did you think of Walker and Tom?
00:48 Have you studied them at all this week?
00:49 And what kind of a matchup do you anticipate with those tackles?
00:53 >> They look pretty good.
00:54 I haven't watched too much pass yet, but they look like they get after in the run.
00:58 And they're starting for a reason in the NFL, so we'll be ready.
01:02 >> If you said that you guys kind of had the blueprint for
01:04 stopping the Eagles offense when you beat them, how do you feel about that now?
01:08 You taking some credit for their early departure?
01:11 >> I actually saw the clip and I was like, damn, I shouldn't have said that.
01:15 But it worked out pretty good.
01:17 >> Aaron Jones isn't the biggest back, but he's very physical.
01:22 What challenges does he present as to take him?
01:26 >> He's really good.
01:27 He runs his own scheme really well.
01:29 And he's a hard running back.
01:32 And we've played him many times before, so you gotta put pads on him.
01:36 >> Along the same lines of the sort of familiarity with the offense
01:41 that you may already have, do you look at Love and
01:43 kind of see Brock a little bit in terms of decision making and
01:47 the way he goes about his job?
01:48 >> I'd say so.
01:49 I think they both go through their reads really smooth and they're accurate.
01:55 I've seen more from Brock in terms of making plays, but
01:58 we're definitely gonna have to be ready for him.
02:02 >> Kyle said that the pads came on during practice on Friday.
02:05 You got to go ones versus ones.
02:08 How do you feel physically after the bye week?
02:11 Was there some new juice there?
02:15 >> Yeah, not quite as much as that first bye week, but
02:18 definitely some juice mentally and physically.
02:22 I think there's been a little sickness going around, so
02:25 people are starting to get healthy, which we're lucky we got it during the bye.
02:31 So I think we'll be energized and ready.
02:34 >> Nick, do you see enough of this now, when you're studying him,
02:39 do you see enough of September Jordan Love to say,
02:42 he's a bit nervous, he's really improved throughout the year?
02:47 >> I haven't watched too much earlier in the year of him.
02:51 But what Kyle talks about is the whole team has improved throughout
02:55 the entire season.
02:56 They've gotten a lot of guys healthy and they have a lot of the same guys from
03:01 the past, really good teams they've had.
03:03 And a quarterback does exactly what he's coached to do,
03:08 which Aaron Rodgers is a hall of famer and unbelievable.
03:11 But he kind of went outside of the realm of coaching and
03:16 sometimes it's good when you have a guy who does what he's coached to do.
03:21 >> I think Fred was saying that in playing Green Bay that with Kyle and
03:26 Matt LaFleur's background together and running similar offense,
03:31 there's some familiarity in terms of their system.
03:34 Do you see that a lot?
03:35 >> Yeah, I do.
03:36 Very similar scheme.
03:39 So last week when we practiced against our guys,
03:42 it was good practice for what we're gonna see.
03:45 >> What does it mean to this defense to be getting Eric back?
03:50 >> Means a lot.
03:51 I think he was playing some of the best football he's ever played in his career
03:57 this year and we're extremely lucky to have him back.
04:01 >> Did the way the Packers beat the Cowboys surprise you at all?
04:04 And can that serve as sort of a wake up call that you gotta bring your A game
04:08 every game that you can get blown up?
04:10 >> Yeah, I mean, definitely don't look past opponents in the playoffs.
04:14 And but when you watch the tape, it makes perfect sense.
