00:00 >> When you look at how your offensive line has protected
00:05 in the last game, you guys made some strides running the ball.
00:11 But with Baker getting sacked multiple times the other night,
00:16 how do you feel in the first matchup that the offensive line did and
00:20 keeping Baker upright and protecting him?
00:23 >> I thought they did a good job of getting pressure on him and
00:27 guys not getting open.
00:30 They did a good job, they got a good front.
00:31 It's gonna be a tough matchup for us.
00:33 Between the team in the middle and the two outside guys,
00:36 they present a lot of problems.
00:37 We gotta do a lot better job running and throwing football.
00:40 We wanna win this ball game.
00:41 >> Todd, what are the best ways to kind of replicate what you're gonna
00:47 have to deal with crowd noise wise there in Detroit?
00:51 >> It's gonna be tough.
00:52 We can turn it up as loud as possible music wise and have noise.
00:57 Broad in and everything else, but Sunday's gonna be at a whole nother decibel.
01:00 So we're preparing for it.
01:02 We gotta have a few silent things ready.
01:04 And the best way to do that is try to make some plays and keep quiet.
01:08 >> What is it about your team that has allowed you guys to have the success that
01:11 you've had this year on the road?
01:12 >> Mental toughness, guys playing for each other.
01:16 It's going on the road, everybody's around each other.
01:19 We've been around each other.
01:20 I think the trip that we took to New York in the summer when we had a couple days up
01:24 there with the Jets, getting to know each other,
01:26 everybody spending time around each other.
01:28 We got a little closer that way.
01:30 Really just grinded a season going through some mental things,
01:33 some adversity coming out on the other side and just staying together.
01:36 Staying together keep us together.
01:38 >> Just part of the game plan to put McKellum at safety with what you were doing
01:42 in the park and have it covered.
01:44 Do you see him down the road as a possible safety or
01:47 I know you like his versatility.
01:49 What does he give you when he's back there?
01:52 >> He gives us speed.
01:53 He gives us versatility from a coverage standpoint.
01:56 He's a willing tackler.
01:57 He gives us matchups against tight ends that we wouldn't normally match up against
02:03 very well.
02:03 >> How did it have two games in a row where you're playing teams you faced and
02:08 lost to in the regular season?
02:09 Obviously they get the same benefit as well.
02:11 But how much do you like preparing for
02:14 a team knowing how they've handled your personnel already this year?
02:16 >> I really don't like it that much, especially if you lost.
02:20 Cuz you gotta throw everything out, try to do some different things.
02:23 You gotta see how much of it was scheme, how much of it was mistakes and
02:27 playing and try to mesh the two together and come up with something different.
02:30 >> How much of that loss to Detroit was scheme versus mistakes?
02:34 I remember correctly there were mishaples I think as well.
02:37 >> It was both.
02:38 I mean it was both.
02:38 We didn't coach it well and we didn't play it well.
02:41 It's never one without the other.
02:43 We know we gotta coach it better and
02:44 give them a better position than they have to make plays.
02:47 >> Do you see McCallum as a long term option at safety?
02:49 >> It's early to tell at this point.
02:52 I love him at corner, I like him at safety.
02:53 >> Okay.
02:55 >> Obviously Detroit's got a lot of weapons that they can hurt you with.
02:57 But Amin Ran, what do you see with him?
02:59 He's a guy that you know he's gonna get the ball but
03:01 still makes it tough to stop him.
03:04 >> Unbelievable.
03:04 I mean his stop start, his route running, his aggressiveness after he catches
03:10 the football, his quickness, his toughness.
03:14 He's a pro ball, he's an all pro receiver to us.
