00:00 And it is time to preview the NFC Championship game.
00:08 The nightcap here is 630 Eastern, 330 Pacific.
00:11 It is the Detroit Lions going on the road for the first time in the playoffs to San Francisco.
00:17 49ers off of beating the Packers, although not covering.
00:22 And Mark, we are seeing this number pretty much seven across the board.
00:25 That is the 49ers as the home favorite.
00:28 51 being the total.
00:30 Jared Goff, we know about his home-road dichotomy here.
00:33 Not always the same quarterback on the road up against Brock Purdy and the 49ers.
00:38 Christian McCaffrey and the Bunch.
00:41 Good defense here for the Niners.
00:43 Can the Lions kind of continue this, the winning that we've seen in the playoffs?
00:48 And can the 49ers at home cover the seven?
00:51 What are your overall thoughts here, Lions at 49ers?
00:55 Jared Goff at home, 70.1 completion percentage, 19 touchdowns, 107.9 quarterback rating.
01:02 Jared Goff on the road, 64.8 completion percentage, 11 touchdowns, 89.4 quarterback rating.
01:12 That's the difference.
01:13 That's what it sounds like here.
01:14 Look, I'm not going up against the top three defense in the NFL, which he hasn't had to
01:19 do yet in this postseason.
01:22 Because last time I checked, the Rams have an average defense and the Buccaneers have
01:25 an average defense.
01:26 Good luck.
01:27 Now, if Debo Simmons is not playing, and he says that by all accounts he is right now,
01:31 it's going to change things a little bit for San Francisco's offense.
01:36 But I think that's more of a totals thing than anything else.
01:38 I'll go back to what I said earlier.
01:41 The Lions getting to more than 21 in this game is going to be very, very difficult.
01:52 The 49ers just do not allow more than 21 on a routine occasion.
01:57 They gave up 33 to the Ravens, lost that game.
01:59 Gave up 29 to the Cardinals in a game where they were already up 35 to 16 heading into
02:05 the fourth quarter.
02:06 So, to give up 29 there in a game that didn't matter.
02:09 They gave up 31 to the Bengals when Brock Purdy threw three picks in that game that
02:13 led to two touchdowns.
02:14 And then the only time they've given up more than, 23 or more, was the other time it was
02:20 against the Rams when the Rams were down 10 with one second left.
02:25 Sean McVay kicked the field goal to make it 30 to 23.
02:28 It's really hard to score 24 points on this team.
02:32 Very, very, very hard.
02:34 And I don't see how the Lions are going to win this game scoring 22 or less.
