00:00 The Manila International Airport Authority has suspended two airport police officers
00:06 involved in an altercation with a traffic enforcer for using the EDSA bus lane on Sunday,
00:11 January 21.
00:12 MIAA General Manager Eric Ines ordered the immediate suspension of the two airport police
00:17 officers who were identified as AP02 Raymond Anuran and AP01 Michael Lilis.
00:23 Anuran and Lilis were both inside the marked vehicle when they were flagged by a Metropolitan
00:28 Manila Development Authority enforcer.
00:30 A video captured by the MMDA enforcer shows the airport police member becoming angry after
00:35 being cited for a violation and attempting to snatch the enforcer's cell phone.
00:40 According to Ines, passing through the bus lane was still a violation even if the two
00:44 officers were on an official mission, adding that the agency will not tolerate this kind
00:49 of abuse.
00:50 Only buses operating on the EDSA busway route, Philippine National Police vehicles, and the
