00:05 Lamar Jackson trying to buck the narrative that he can't win in the playoffs.
00:09 And believe me, Baltimore did just that on Saturday afternoon.
00:13 The flock absolutely hammering the Houston Texans 34 to 10.
00:19 Baltimore easily covering as a nine and a half point favorite.
00:23 The pregame total that dropped ever so
00:25 slightly to 43 and a half does go over.
00:30 Lamar Jackson picks up just his second playoff win and
00:33 his five postseason starts in the Baltimore Ravens.
00:37 Donnie will play in an AFC championship game for
00:41 the first time in more than a decade.
00:43 First time since the 2012 NFL season,
00:46 when of course they ended that season as a Super Bowl champion.
00:50 >> And Baltimore Ravens, their defense was absolutely spectacular.
00:54 It's been a solid unit all year long.
00:56 And also, Ben, we're gonna start talking about this, right?
00:58 The next team who they play, which we have all week, the Handicap,
01:01 not gonna run into a banged up and injured linebacking core.
01:04 So we'll see how that plays out.
01:06 But also, didn't you have that inclination at the half like,
01:08 don't do this, Ravens?
01:09 Like we know you're the number one AFC seed.
01:12 You're the best team, you're at home, you're rested and
01:13 ready to rookie quarterback.
01:15 Why is that rookie quarterback not even playing well yet and
01:17 you're tied at the break at ten?
01:19 Well, the second half was a completely different story as the Ravens 24 to
01:23 10, nothing over the Texans here and got that 34 to 10 win overall.
01:27 But I was a little bit worried, but you know what I was?
01:29 And here's what I love again.
01:30 You pay superstar players to perform in big games.
01:33 I know it sounds cliche here, but when you look at the Ravens, and
01:36 you said before that game started, Ben, let me get this straight.
01:39 We're looking at around 20 degree temperatures, 15 mile an hour winds.
01:42 I have a quarterback that's unbelievably athletic.
01:45 He should be able to control the day.
01:46 I'm not taking anything away from TJ Stroud, but
01:48 he's certainly not the runner that Lamar Jackson is.
01:51 So when you take a look at the rushing, 11 carries for
01:53 100 yards and two touchdowns.
01:55 They're unaccounted for yards and
01:57 touchdowns that's not supposed to happen in the NFL.
02:00 Quarterbacks aren't supposed to run for close to 100 or two touchdowns here.
02:03 Everybody else is supposed to do that.
02:04 So that makes it even harder for
02:06 the defense to clamp down on your offense the way it is.
02:08 And how about Lamar Jackson?
02:10 16 of 22 in those windy conditions, ultra efficient for 152 yards and
02:14 also, Ben, chipping in with two touchdown passes and no interceptions here.
02:18 You wanna be the MVP of the league?
02:20 You gotta win games like this in sloppy atmospheres.
02:23 Not saying it was rainy out there, but just in cold conditions with windy where,
02:27 hey, if I throw a bad football, it might end up in an interception.
02:30 I love the way the Ravens played.
02:32 I love the way they finished it out because sometimes you do have a little bit
02:35 of rust here to start these games.
02:37 The same thing with the 49ers coming off those roughly three weeks of buys, but
02:41 they certainly turned back into form, not even giving up an offensive touchdown
02:45 to the Houston Texans in this game.
02:47 That was fantastic.
02:48 Here go the Ravens on that march to the Super Bowl.
