Liverpool Council will contact the government to request further powers to tackle pavement parking. Despite enforcement being tightened around problem parkers throughout Liverpool, the city council has been urged to seek more power to end the issue of cars being left in the way.

Merseyside Police is joining forces up and down the country to support 'Neighbourhood Policing Week' – a national week of action aimed at highlighting the positive impact that neighbourhood policing has on communities throughout the year by reducing crime and keeping people safe.

Culture Liverpool is on the lookout for the city's best dancing talent. Creative individuals and organisations are being encouraged to apply for a one-off Dance Creative Commission Grant and use the funding to commission a brand new piece of work that will be showcased as part of the Leap Dance Festival, which returns this year for the first time since the pandemic.
