Claire Foy has been recognised with an BAFTA nomination for her role in the incredibly emotional, All Of Us Strangers. She plays Paul Mescal's mother, alongside Billy Elliot himself, Jamie Bell. 00:32 When you watched it for the first time, what did you feel?
00:35 I think the first time you watch something back,
00:37 you're just mortified at your own existence.
00:39 So that's how I felt for the first time I watched it.
00:41 The second time, I was just amazed. I was so moved.
00:43 I think that Andrew is extraordinary.
00:47 Like, to see his performance is, you know, incredibly special.
00:50 And what him and Paul did together, I think, is even more special.
00:54 And I just thought the whole thing was beautiful.

00:57 Compared to other things that you've done, was it fun on set?
00:59 Like, did you have a really nice time around these guys?
01:01 Yeah, I mean, I always tend to have quite a lot of fun on set.
01:04 Actors are brilliant. They're my sort of favourite people.

01:10 I think we were feeling so many emotions during the day
01:13 that we sort of had to wear it quite lightly
01:15 and try and have a bit of fun together, and we did.
01:17 You know, they're such a great bunch.
01:18 When you first started out as an actress,
01:19 did you dream of doing roles like this?
01:21 Was this kind of the pinnacle thing you wanted to achieve down the line?
01:24 I never would have dreamed of doing roles like this.
01:27 I never... You know, I think I never would have even...
01:31 It would have been in my wildest dreams that this would happen.
01:34 So I'm just very grateful that I get to. Very grateful.
01:38 And would you bring anything back from your childhood?
01:40 Oh, um...
01:42 What would I bring?
01:44 I had a really great pair of patterned tights from Marks & Spencers
01:49 that were sort of like a very sheer denier, which I really enjoyed.
01:52 And I laddered them as soon as I put them on.
