00:00 Bring good food for people, for the planet, in 7 billion dishes, implementing 50 regenerative agriculture projects.
00:14 This is the ambitious goal that Unilever, together with Knorr, has wanted to achieve on a global scale by 2025.
00:20 One of the nine pilot regenerative agriculture projects launched by the Italian group,
00:25 more precisely the rice fields of Pavia, and is part of the "Buon Cibo Knorr" program.
00:30 Knorr has been promoting sustainable agriculture for over 10 years and in 2022
00:35 it implemented the principles of regenerative agriculture in rice fields in the province of Pavia.
00:41 The results have been really encouraging.
00:43 In fact, these techniques have been applied in agricultural companies in the area
00:47 and have produced, I think, a reduction of 78% of the agrochemicals present in rice fields water.
00:54 And they have improved the quality of the soil and biodiversity.
01:02 Results so encouraging that they have led to the spread of these techniques to 200 rice growers in the area.
01:09 In the context of the "Buon Cibo Knorr" program, the "Regenera le tue vibes" campaign was also launched,
01:15 born from the awareness of Knorr that its products and projects could play an important role
01:20 in contributing to the reduction of environmental impact.
01:23 To speak to Generation Z, Knorr has chosen to involve two of its great idols.
01:29 On the one hand, the "The Colors", icons and voices of Generation Z,
01:33 with their Italo Disco that has climbed the rankings,
01:36 and on the other hand, the real guardians of good Italian food and the "good vibes" of these guys, the "grandmothers".
01:44 So, "Regenera le tue vibes" is nothing more than our method to face the challenges of everyday life.
01:53 Sometimes, just eat a good risotto approved by the grandmothers and discover that rice is grown thinking about the planet.
02:00 And this is part of the biggest mission of Knorr towards regenerative agriculture,
02:05 with important goals for our planet, starting from Italy.
02:09 The commitment of Unilever in the field of regenerative agriculture is included in two other great goals,
02:15 zero emissions by 2039 and regenerate 1.5 million hectares of land, oceans and forests by 2030.
02:24 These practices also allow to impact much less on the environment in general,
02:29 and therefore, in fact, guaranteeing more options for the development of agriculture,
02:35 which is able to meet the needs of a growing portion of humanity.
02:40 It also allows, through these innovative practices, to reduce, for example, the impact in terms of carbon footprint,
02:47 that is, to impact less on the problem of climate change,
02:50 so as to reduce the pollution flows that can compromise the environment on our planet.
