00:00 >> Yeah, would you have tried to break all those tackles?
00:03 >> You know what's funny is, I'm right there for the interception and
00:07 I see Superman, Dre Greenlawn come out of nowhere and snag it.
00:09 I'm like, yes.
00:11 I don't even look at him.
00:12 I turn around, I started looking at the crowd and then I turn around.
00:15 I see 57 just running around, swimming with the football like this.
00:21 I'm like, heavens.
00:24 But you know what?
00:25 I went up to him afterward.
00:26 I'm like, why don't you go down?
00:28 He's like, I wanted to pick six like we talked about.
00:30 >> [LAUGH] >> That's right, that's not-
00:33 >> I'll get it for you now.
00:34 >> [LAUGH] >> Tell him I'll go get one.
00:38 >> [LAUGH] >> What a win, what a win.
00:43 >> What is the sense in the locker room?
00:45 Is it relief?
00:46 How do you guys feel after a game like that where you're just pushed to the edge
00:50 by that team?
00:51 >> Yeah, we feel exhausted.
00:53 We feel exhausted.
00:54 I mean, that took everything.
00:55 It took everyone.
00:56 And we knew it would be a close game.
00:58 I mean, that's a heck of a team and they gave us everything.
01:01 And this is the playoffs.
01:03 We knew we had to find a way to win no matter what.
01:05 And I think, obviously, we wanted to go out there.
01:08 We wanted to win in a big way where it wasn't that close.
01:11 But at the same time, I'm looking at it like, man,
01:14 that's how you gotta get it done.
01:17 We talk about it all the time, Grimy wins.
01:20 That's as Grimy as it gets.
01:21 I think that's gonna help us going forward,
01:23 knowing that it doesn't matter what type of game it is, we can win anyway.
01:28 So that's a big time win right there by our team.
01:30 >> [INAUDIBLE] >> Which one?
01:33 >> Six of their eight trips, I think they got inside in the red zone.
01:36 And they only finished with 21 points.
01:38 How were you guys able to kind of pull up and keep them from getting the end zone?
01:42 >> Yeah, I mean, it was unacceptable, the way that we were playing to start the drives.
01:47 I mean, we kept giving up explosive plays and
01:49 I got to look at it to see exactly what was going on.
01:51 But you mentioned this, standing up in those red zone opportunities was crucial.
01:57 Cuz I mean, imagine if we're giving up touchdowns instead of field goals or
02:02 we came up big with that missed field goal at the end.
02:05 But that's something we gotta clean up.
02:08 I would love to look at it and watch it off a win rather than a loss at home.
02:12 >> Yeah, it's a tight group of guys for sure.
02:15 Does a win like that, I don't know,
02:17 bring you guys a little closer together or unite the room a little bit more?
02:21 >> Yeah, of course.
02:22 I mean, anytime you go through hard things together as a group,
02:25 that's gonna harden you, that's gonna bring you closer.
02:28 And if we're ever in that situation again,
02:31 that we know that we can look at each other in the eye and
02:33 know that we can get it done no matter what.
02:35 >> I'm trying to understand this game just ended, but is there anything you can take
02:37 away from how it went or to turn the page to next week and how you guys get ready?
02:43 >> Yeah, I mean, we look at it as an opportunity to correct a lot of
02:47 different things, even though, I mean, yeah, great that we won.
02:49 But I mean, shoot, we would love to go into the NFC Championship game,
02:54 firing much more effectively, executing at a higher level,
02:58 doing things the way that we know that we can and that we're capable of doing.
03:02 I mean, yeah, it's great we won, but shoot, there's so
03:05 much to correct and get better at going into this next game.
03:07 So great opportunity.
03:10 >> At what point did you kind of sense that maybe this was, as other teammates
03:14 have described, it's just kind of a day that was not going your guys' way?
03:19 >> You said when did I sense that?
03:20 >> Is there this time you guys might have sensed that?
03:22 Was it pre-game, early in the game, or just maybe things seemed off?
03:27 >> Not at all.
03:30 I thought things were great all the way through.
03:32 I think at half we knew that even though we were up, I think, what, seven to six,
03:36 that we gave them that six, it shouldn't even been that close, I feel like.
03:40 And I'm sure the offense would say the same thing.
03:41 There were some opportunities where they missed some opportunities in that first
03:44 half.
03:45 But regardless, I'm like, it's a playoffs, this is how it goes.
03:48 It's gonna be hard fought game all the way through.
03:51 I think when we went down late in the game, it was about how do we find just a way to
03:55 make a play to ultimately get us this win and keep chopping until we make it happen.
04:00 >> [INAUDIBLE] >> One more, one more.
04:04 >> Were you scared?
04:06 >> Was I scared?
04:06 >> Yeah.
04:07 >> [LAUGH] >> The game time of your hands and
04:09 the offense, that's where it touched down.
04:11 >> I mean, I think I saw us dunk it down to Christian, I think with four minutes
04:15 left and the clock's ticking down, and I'm telling the sideline, hey,
04:18 this is our final drive.
04:19 We gotta get a touchdown and then we're gonna be back up to get a stop to win
04:23 the game so that there was no offense can go three and out or
04:26 they had to score or else the game's over.
04:29 So it is what it is, we won.
