00:00 Matthew's approach to storytelling is unique in the sense that he's coming up
00:06 with his own ideas. It's going to be fun, you know that much, it's going to be
00:10 slightly mad because that's who Matthew is and it's going to be bold and I think
00:16 as a fan of storytelling and movies and being an actor myself that's what I want
00:22 to see.
00:25 Being able to play directly to camera in a comedic way is fun. It definitely
00:32 changes the approach but I knew coming into the role that this was going to be
00:39 lots of fun and just having a go on the day and taking big swings.
00:47 Matthew's eye for detail is extraordinary. From the very beginning he
00:52 had a vision for this movie and he, I mean just something as simple as a
00:58 flat top and a high-collared green velvet jacket, it's a particular
01:05 look and that was just my character and then to be able to blend that with
01:08 everything else and create such a synergistic, charming look for a movie is
01:17 not easy, it's no mean feat and it's a pleasure to see it all come together as
01:23 well, especially there's some scenes where I was involved in some scenes I
01:26 didn't realize the color palette and the pattern of the movie and when I saw it
01:33 all in one place it does look extraordinary.
