01:04 who very tragically passed away shortly before shooting.
01:07 So Brad Allen designed all of the sequences and whatnot.
01:12 Brad comes from Jackie Chan so it's very stylized, comedic violence.
01:17 I did this thing when I got out of quarantine in Australia.
01:21 The first day out of quarantine, by the way.
01:24 I'm surprised they let you in.
01:26 Exactly. I know what you're saying.
01:28 The first day I get out, Brad was in Australia.
01:31 I didn't see him but I saw some of his team.
01:34 And they wanted to assess my abilities.
01:37 And for an hour, straight out of quarantine,
01:40 they had me do everything from warming up to jiu-jitsu
01:44 to all the little things, how to roll.
01:47 And I was shattered afterwards. It was just an hour.
01:50 Just to see what level I would be at.

02:57 how do you find a rhythm for it?
02:59 They're very similar actually.

03:03 Well, choreographing a fight scene
03:07 is not unlike choreographing a dance, you know.

03:13 You can make it look dangerous and be safe at the same time.

03:38 and it's like this sort of rote thing.

03:52 And his acerbic humor I found very surprising and titillating.
