00:00 I'm not a monster.
00:02 (laughing)
00:03 Dakota Johnson is clarifying her viral sleep comments
00:07 in a new interview.
00:08 During a January 22nd appearance on The Tonight Show
00:11 starring Jimmy Fallon, the host presses the 50 Shade star
00:15 for details about her nighttime routine
00:18 after she sparked a debate in December
00:21 for telling the Wall Street Journal
00:23 about the amount of hours of sleep she gets per night,
00:26 sharing, "I'm not functional.
00:27 "If I get less than 10, I can easily go 14 hours."
00:32 But in the new interview, Dakota clarifies what she meant.
00:36 This one, (laughing)
00:38 Dakota Johnson likes to sleep for 14 hours a night.
00:41 (laughing)
00:42 Wall Street Journal, that's a long time of sleep.
00:45 I didn't even say that like that.
00:47 That's a long time, you like to sleep 14 hours,
00:50 that's wild. No, I said that
00:51 I could easily sleep 14 hours, but I don't demand it.
00:55 (laughing)
00:56 I'm not a monster.
00:57 (laughing)
00:59 She also wants everybody to just relax
01:02 while dropping another detail
01:04 that will make all the insomniacs out there very envious.
01:08 But then all the other people picked up.
01:09 I know, but look, everything, bizarre, page six,
01:12 the bizarre, USA Today, they started a whole debate.
01:15 Is that too much sleep?
01:17 Is that enough?
01:18 Who gets to do this?
01:19 No one sleeps 14. Why is sleep bad?
01:21 Like why?
01:22 Leave me alone.
01:23 (laughing)
01:24 I'm just asleep.
01:25 I love, we love to sleep.
01:27 I don't have to take anything to sleep like that either.
01:30 I can just sleep like that.
01:31 I think if I took like an Ambien,
01:33 I think I'd wake up next year.
01:35 (laughing)
01:36 Well, prioritize your rest while you can, Dakota,
01:39 because things are about to get very fizzy for the actress.
01:44 I knew he was gonna die.
01:45 I think I'm seeing the future.
01:48 Her new action film, Madam Web, hits theaters in February.
01:52 While visiting Jimmy Fallon,
01:54 the 34-year-old shows off some of the superhero skills
01:57 she learned while stunt training for the Marvel movie.
02:00 You know, there's a lot of driving in the movie,
02:02 and my character, Cassie, does a lot of driving,
02:06 and I did some stunt training for driving,
02:09 and I like loved it so much,
02:11 and I learned how to do some crazy things
02:12 that they actually didn't let me do in the movie,
02:15 which was so annoying.
02:16 You brought an exclusive thing just for us.
02:18 I did, I brought a video of some of my training.
02:23 (tires screeching)
02:25 What?
02:26 (laughing)
02:31 Are you kidding me?
02:32 That was perfect.
02:33 Oh, come on!
02:35 (audience cheering)
02:36 I mean, come, you just nailed that.
