00:15 Some retired magistrates of the Supreme Court,

00:21 like Retired Associate Justice Antonio Carpio and Retired Associate Justice Adolfo Azcuna,

00:27 joined the Senate's People's Initiative.

00:32 Here, the two former magistrates gave their opinions and recommendations to Azcuna.

00:54 Carpio also gave his opinion on the types of votes of the Congress.

00:59 He also said that the voting of the two members of Congress should not be biased.

01:19 As for the possible plebiscite for the Charter Change if the People's Initiative will continue,

01:25 they responded to the commissioner elections, not to talk about it.

01:30 We cannot conduct any plebiscite in 2025.

01:33 That's a no-no, that's a negative.

01:35 We cannot conduct a plebiscite even by November of this year to December of this year.

01:41 The space that the commission elections are moving is very small.

01:45 Everybody should be able to understand that when you conduct a plebiscite,

01:49 or even a national or even a local elections,

01:52 you need such procedural processes for procurement.

01:58 Meanwhile, the committee is expected to continue the hearing, not on the P.I., on Friday.
