00:00A woman who sold her newborn baby is in chaos.

00:04This is Patrick De Jesus' story.

00:09An unborn woman was not able to survive

00:13when she was arrested on Tuesday morning

00:15in the entrapment operation of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group

00:19in a lying-in clinic in Caloocan.

00:21The woman was forced to sell her newborn baby

00:27which was taken by authorities.

00:29Before the baby was born,

00:31the suspect sold her baby in a social media post

00:35for 40,000 pesos

00:37and was arrested by the PNP ACG for cyber-patrolling.

00:43He showed the result of his ultrasound to the police

00:47who claimed that he will buy his baby

00:49and that's why the operation was cancelled.

00:51The suspect said that the money problem was the reason.

00:54He said that he needs his father's maintenance

00:57and that he doesn't have money since he's unemployed.

01:00He doesn't have a job.

01:01He doesn't have a livelihood.

01:03His father doesn't know that he has children

01:06and that his mother is an only child.

01:09The social workers of Caloocan LGU are in custody.

01:14The suspect will file a case of violation

01:17of the Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse,

01:20Exploitation and Discrimination Act and Cybercrime Law.

01:25He refused to give a statement.

01:27I will defend myself but I will not speak for you.

01:32According to the PNP ACG,

01:34the baby is for sale online.

01:37In fact, six social media pages are being monitored

01:41where the child is being sold

01:44and has thousands of followers.

01:46For parents or especially for mothers

01:49who are not ready to be a mother

01:51or who don't have a child,

01:55it's better to ask for help from our family.

02:01If not, we can go to the social worker

02:04to ask for advice on what we can do.

02:08The PNP ACG is warning that the buyers of the baby

02:14Patrick De Jesus can also be punished

02:16for the national television in Bago, Philippines.
